Grrrr DirectX9 update

Ok, so I can't play EQ this AM because it says that I do not have the correct 3D gimmick. I see that it is DirectX9 and proceed to download it...only to be told I can't play. Could somebody please link a website where I can download the proper program so I can get back to my crack!

Well maybe I'm just stupid...but I downloaded the DirectX9 (thanks for the link) But I still recieve the error message: No 3D devices found...any suggestions? I am entering into day 3 of withdrawls...noticing a distinct loss of appetite and becoming edgy and paranoid.... :rolleyes: j/k it is just a bother (and this after I posted how well put together EQ was!)

Vol, f you get " No 3D devices found" Its most likely a problem with your 3D card. Get your PC checked out by a pro or call up the Dealers Customer Service and im sure they can help you with your problem.

Try and get the latest drivers for the video card and install them again(after the instilation of dx9), I have had similar issues with installing a new version of dx on top of drivers that are already installed and working for the card....Hope that may help.

I had same problem, you have to install the latest drivers for your video card and then things will work fine.
