I have just recently looked into the game and do not know much about it, but it seems pretty cool...

WoW is probably going to be a pretty good game in my opinion: by the sounds of it they are trying to emulate everquest with a warcraft theme and a blizzard twist (I have great faith in blizzard games too bad the people who play them are usually jackasses and kids, since most if not all aren't too challenging). If I get enough money ill probably buy the game but until then I will settle with everquest. At any rate there will probably be A LOT of problems with the first couple of months but if you are looking for a new MMORPG i would pick this over everquest II any day (well then again FFXI looks pretty cool but I will do more research on both games).

Edit: oops that wasn't the question but this isn't a WoW forum: if you are going to post about other games ask about how they will match up to Everquest not what you are going to do in them

I agree... if you are going to play another online game, I'd definitely choose WoW over EQII

The only problem I've seen from the limited info of WoW, in my opinion anyway, is that it's cartoonish... not sure I'll like that style. If I do play, I'll wait 2-4 months so they can fix the bugs of it.

As for the original topic.... no, I haven't heard anything about Warlocks.
