Yup, still applies for these levels too
Every day (18 hour repeats) be sure to hit up Fenden Helter (http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=29799) in Dragonscale Hills (1st floor of Ladies of the Light tower). He will offer two completely non-combat "acts" and your singular choice of any non-combat "errand" for faction. You can also do each and every "combat" task offered.
For the two acts you can do in series - one leads to the other (special favors)-
A special favor, special delivery. (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=4594) very simple - just follow directions.
Before you run off...get both acts. And HAIL HIM to get the first update or you'll be running back angry that you forgot.
1) run to loping plains, at zone-in is the fangbreaker camp. Pick up the box near the fire and put it in your inventory. Put the facilitator clicky in a top inventory slot because you'll need to click it.
2) at /loc -1120.17, -605.13, 34.59 you will get an update, and a few "tiny worgs" appear and attack. As soon as they start hitting you, click the facilitator device and it kills all of them. Task update.
3) run towards Hills of Shade zone, at /loc 134.84, 3897.95, 341.93 you'll get another update and more tiny worgs appear and attack. Same thing, click the device when they hit you and they all die instantly. Task update.
4) continue running towards Hills of Shade zone, right at the tunnel entrance /loc 2454.80, 3758.30, 362.45...you guessed it. Task update, more worgs - click the device to kill them. Task update.
5) Don't finish this task yet (only thing left is to give fendin the box you picked up, but don't do it yet. Read on. Do the other act first.
Zone into Hills of Shade to do Special Favor - Entrapment (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=4595).
1) First and foremost, if you run from zi straight with slight right angle to the bertox camp you don't even need invis to miss the kos mobs. Now take the path left, towards the big tree and follow the path around to the Mysterious Stranger.
The Mysterious Stranger sells two different masks. One is for Kirathas (elves) and one is for blackwater (humans) both types are undead. Wearing the appropriate mask makes you WARMLY faction to these camps. However, the masks share the same lore group - so you cannot have both. You use one, then destroy it and buy the other needed.
2) Buy eyes of kirathas and put it on. Head to the elf camp and you'll need to encircle a special hut with 4 runes, which appear as you click the spectral containment device Fenden handed you when you hailed him. You didn't forget to hail him did you? If you are repeating this task, you still may have the device...but you still need to hail him.
3) So copy/paste the map files on the bottom of this post into your hills of shade map. The huts themselves (if memory serves) isn't drawn on the default mapfiend map - but the locs should put you smack in the middle of them. It might be worth your time to detail the 3 huts in each location for future expediance. Head to the kirathas camp (elves) to one of the huts (doesn't have to be in order of 1, 2, 3). Goal is to encircle the hut with a ring of 4 runes. You have to do it kind of fast because the runes don't last a long time. You'll get some message saying "hurry all 4 runes aren't in place" or something for the first 3 clicks, then after the 4th rune is in place a little while later you'll get a task update. Do this to all 3 huts marked. Then head back to the mysterious stranger.

4) Delete your kirathas mask. Buy a blackwater mask. Put it on. Now follow the road back to the bertox camp, then bolt to the blackwater camp.
5) Same thing - locs show which huts to encircle. 4 runes around 3 huts, and walla. You'll get the 3 remaining task updates here.
6) Gate or whatever - get back to Dragonscale Hills to Fenden. Take your blackwater mask and put in a bag. Next time, hit blackwater camp first and then kirathas. So you only have to buy 1 mask per day. Switch back & forth which you do first based on the mask in your bag.

You'll want to do these dailys for 3 reasons.
1) They give you a metric ton of xp for the effort/time. If you claim the rewards during a lesson burn / potion burn, you get double the xp. You can do this by simply "x'ing" out the reward window at Fenden. Then during a lesson, use the eq icon -> quests -> rewards to claim at any time. You can only keep 5 maximum rewards 'banked' like this.
2) You get Faycite currency as part of the reward. Check out Fenden's wares and you can see he offers a fantastic variety of SoF gear and augments, purchasable only with that Faycite currency. A screenshot is below showing some examples of necrotic interest.
3) The "errand" tasks yield you a bunch of faction for whatever faction you would like to increase in your efforts to obtain rk2 spells, gear or whatever.
Within a few days you should be able to put down both acts + errand of choice inside of 30-35 minutes. You can also do combat errands, but they reward a pittance reward compared to the non-combat stuff.
If you do this every time you log in before your normal grind, you will level / aa much faster and unless you are a hardcore raider...you'll eventually score a gear or aug upgrade too.
Update: Copy/paste the following lines in your map files to get these markers.
