going to icefall for the first time to solo. What should I be killing and what not to kill for faction. Any other info would be nice..thnks

Bears are good, spiders are the best imho.Yep, the Spider Camp rocks from around 69+. I spend so much time there that I know every inch of snow, LOL!

The bears are good too, they drop pelts that are for a quest in Valdaholm that gives a nice bracer and also faction you need to get the Shield quest in Frostcrypt.There is a nice kiting area for these right beside the mammoth valley.

I'm lvl 73 and tried to get into Valdaholm but was wacked. guess not liked? how do you know if your liked by NPC's before venturing to close? Any quest? How do i gain faction with Valdaholm. I'm an erodite

First things first, you should get into the habbit of conning "new to you" NPC's at a distance. right click them.

On Valdeholm, everybody is given defaulted dubious faction or better to the entry area to Valdeholm. Here is a pic of Mapfiend's map:

I drew the read line to signify aprox where the entry area is blocked off from the main area. You entre the zone on the bottom, all the guards along and up to the gate leading past the red line should allow you to pass unharmed.

The various quest NPCs are all found in the various rooms to the left & right of the bridge, along the first two tiered areas. None of them are behind the gates to Valdeholm proper. Behind those gates you will be kos; it is a hunting zone.

Here (http://www.necrotalk.com/showthread.php?t=6973) is the link for the Bracer quest (you can have two of them!) and how to improve your faction there. Just takes time to get used to the area, but I think you'll enjoy Icefall and Vald a bunch. I did! :D
