2.0 RCoD mobs solo able?

Title pretty much sums it up.I lucked into an Orb from CoA so I decided to turn my 1.5 into a 2.0.Just wondering if the 2 mobs i need to kill in RCoD are solo able, pet tanking with a tier 1 merc cleric?If so or not ,any strategies are welcomed... :D

well i'm not sure about now, but before they nerfed the fight way back when I was able to solo my 2.0 fight.

The hardest part is getting the mobs solo. They don't snare, or they are resistant enough that it's not feasible. I also remember them corpse camping, which made trying to split them even more fun. The easiest way I found was just to use a cleric/chanter/druid to pacify pull. If you can get it single then your pet shouldn't have any problem tanking it with a merc for heals.

2-3 months ago, as i was doing them...they were eas ysoloable(with merc).

splitting wasnt a real problem for me as well. worked on the first attempt.

with merc the whole epic from start till anguish is soloable...

Yay!I'm now the owner of Deathwhisper!A druid friend of mine and me took out all three uglies in RCoD.They still resist quite a bit and have loads of hps but were very easy.Thanks all for the helpful info......Now to get better augs for it.

grats on 2.0...mobs are very doable with a merc, have pet tank once you split. Mobs will resist all DoTs so don't even waste your mana. I just used blood magic, and spammed lifetaps...die pretty quick

Were you 85 when you did this? I am currently lvl 82, around 700 AAs (max DoT crit for lvl, plus some AAs in deffense, pet survivability, life tap crits, all but the last Gift of Mana, Encroaching Darkness 2, Death Peace 2, Whisperwind, and max Willful Death). Around 19,200 mana and 17,500 HPs unbuffed, and Servitor of Scale pet focus. Can I do most of the epic solo? I plan on getting help for the last fight for 1.5 for sure, as well as 2.0 since I don't want to have to get another orb :)

Yeah, you've pretty much got it figured out. 85 and Death Bloom/Spires would be a big help, but you'd be alright on most of it.

Woo Hooo I didn't get to try and solo most of the steps since I had friends that were willing to help me along the way, but I now have Deathwhisper!!! :) The 2 tougher 1.5 fights were done with a well geared warrior, myself, and our healer mercs. The 2.0 fight was done with a well geared necro, myself, our pets and his T5 healer merc (I accidentally had mine on passive, oops, Noob!). Splitting the 3 mobs in the 2.0 fight would have been tough by myself I think, but was probably doable with patience... It would have been a very very hard fight for me right now though, but possible! Thank you for all the useful info on this site :)
