Can we resurrect? And if so what level?

I have read that Necros can resurrect but I have never seen a spell for this on any site. Is this true? and if so, at what level can we start resurrecting? My brother told me just a minute ago that a necro in his guild was outside Estate of Unrest last night ressurecting people and he made about 4000 plat in an hour.

Can someone give me some info on our resurrecting abilities? I know I cant now. Im only 18th lvl. Just thinking about the future.

The spell is "Convergence." It's a 93% resurrection, and it requires an essence emerald, which is consumed when cast.

Emeralds turn into Essence Emeralds when you cast Sacrifice (lev 51) on a willing person. They die and cannot get the exp back through a resurrection.

Just wondering why he picked unrest (lower level exp area) for making money.

Must be loads of heavy money alts there. Heard ppl use it to ress the cleric who resses rest of party in hard to access areas. never heard of it as a money source.

One should imagine that ppl who got so much money to spend on rezzing a low level char should have enuff experience not to get killed there the first place.

I am far from having those spells myself but I can't imagine essence emeralds growing on trees. I would not let meself killed w/o ress possibility for cheap at those lvls.
(what was the minumium lvl to get saced ? 46? )

you're right... i think the story was an exaggeration to say the least (i can't imagine a cleric making that kind of pp there with how easy it would be to gain back the xp)

EEs cost around 350pp... the only time i've sacced people is for open naggy/vox raids, and then only once or twice

they're great for self-rez when 350pp is worth over an hour of leveling... other than that, emergencies and the occasional high-level player who might pay 2K for a summon/rez in a dangerous zone

i've seen a few players mass-sacrifice a high-level player to make money and take a cut... but that's fairly rare too

Actually, that seems to be very common on Xegony....people PL an alt to a mid 50, and suck em dry for a few stacks. You know this is necros that are doin it ....my guild is full of the "sucked" hehe :blink:

I guess I'm lucky I sac all the time to a few (3) people that do a 1 for 3 EE deal. I cast spell three times, they get 2 I get 1 and have gotten several stacks this way then they go sell them at 350p ea and make a killling I guess they sell them very fast. I have to start again because I'm almost out now but doing a summons and a rez for 300p when it only cost me about 67p for the small coffin now works pretty well. Although mostly don't do this often. Usually at least my 3 contacts are from someone that played a toon in college they said and now just lvl bk up for the EE to sell (another source of plat for them in game). Works for me!

Convergence rocks so much. I cant even express the rockness.

Just imagine a cleric who can feign death? Yah at higher levels, when youre in a group deep in a dungeon, or better yet an entire raid...when things go bad, they are thanking their lucky stars they have me in their group. Why? Because long, dangerous CRs are a huge pain in the ass. Well, when the raid wipes because of a bad pull, I simply feign when I have the chance, watch them all die...wait a bit for feign timer, then stand up and start dragging the clerics with rezzy sticks to a safe spot. Rez 2 or 3 clickystick clerics, and then start dragging the rest of the corpses. And thus, Umbrello saves the day/raid. Its happened to me before on a kael raid, I felt cool...only ones who survived were me and a few SKs, but SKs cant rez. It saved us alot of time, and overall saved the raid. Its nice when youre the only necro :)
