What about us Dark Elf Necros??

Okay so I'm a DEF Necro, 21, almost 22 now. I have basically cleaned out all of Kurns Tower, BlackBurrow too. I see all of these hunting guides but it seems like they come from people who dont have DEF necros. Where can I go and hunt that im not KOS to some guard or NPC thats gonna hit me for 150 points of damage on site before i even actually get to the hunting ground??

Everyone is like go to PC! go to PC! well I tried that and about 15 seconds after going down the cavern some human NPC's attacked and killed me. What is a lvl 21 DEF Necro to do? Where do I go solo??? I know I can go to Estate of Unrest, but arent I KOS in the area before I even get there????

I have taken all of my toons to Netherbian Lair from lvl 20 to 29. The guards there are not kos to you and you should be safe. It's real quiet there not a whole lot of people grouping or exping, just have the passerbys and that's about it. Also, Marus Seru is real close along with Dawnshroud Peaks if you feel like you're getting tired of soloing and want to get a group. Both of those places have a few groups going in there usually. Both of those zones are soloable also if you feel you want a change of pace.

The humans that attacked you in Paludal are bandits: they're KoS to most people.

Otherwise, yes, as a Necro, any time you're travelling you should be invisible. The Gather Shadows spell is a pain because it will randomly drop, but at 55 you get a new spell that is a fixed-duration invisibility and makes life a lot safer.

at 21, try findin a partner or something and do unrest .. 95% of the zone is undead.. fun fun fun. 30's I was fear kiting giants in GD if I remember right.. EW also good for when u hit upper 30's early 40's, and factioning for CoV is an added plus; of course.. unless you WANT to go the giant faction route.

Yeah, get your undead slow, find a tank (and, ideally, a healer) and Unrest should be a good spot for fast XP... don't necessarily even need a good tank with a slower, my Druid was tanking for an Unrest group around level 30, though they have maxed Defence and a decent AC :). Your pet might be up to the job if you have a decent healer to help.

Watch for Torklar Battlemaster if you haven't been there before: he's about level 20 and a huge undercon, even in the 50s he managed to take about 40% off the health of my level 49 pet before dying, and a 50-ish Cleric who pulled him out of a train earlier in the day almost had to zone before they managed to kill him. AFAIR he's not classed as undead either, and unslowed hits for 80 (I think) will hurt.

A zone that I did the first time around on my necro that NO ONE ever does is EK. Its actually not bad exp and its super easy just kite cats and spiders around for a couple levels then I always went right next door to HK at like 24 or 25. Tork is gimp I soloed him 3 times in one day at 24 :(. Had a friend pull him tho lol. But I did the killing!

Well, if you can pull him out of the house and aggro-kite or fear-kite, I'm sure he's easy... but not if you have to tank him. He didn't seem to have a lot of hit points, but he did hit hard.
