Old Seb.

I just have a few questions about old seb.I'm a level 51 ikky necro and i duo with my wifes 52 shammy. Is it possible for use to possibly duo old seb,we have never been in the zone before.We are always trying differant zones,been on lady D in dulak for a while.Decent money for how easy they are. Any info about old seb. would be greatly apprciated.

That's probably a few levels away, the spawns are set up at the zone in, so that your never gonna get just one. The casters would really hurt you, it's not uncommon to round a corner in sebilis and get hit with icecommet (which sounds painfull) although I have no idea what the dmg on it is. HT's deeper in would probably be a bit much, assuming you could get there. I'd probably try the zone in to veksar and kill the goblins there, or even velks lab. Your shaman lady can slow just about anything 70% or so...so mob dps is low, I'd fight melee mobs more if I were you.

You may also want to try open door zones, you have constant sow and regen, another dotting class with you, seafury cyclops or something could be very very easy/enjoyable, and would give you time enough to chat with your wife, get her that cup of tea or whatnot and still have decent character progression.

I kite in tactics and fire with a few friends that I've made in EQ for those same reasons, and it's always nice to take a minute and either fully answer a question or just tell them about your day, that doesn't go like.

Having to hit enter so you can cast a spell, or turn around, fd or whatever every 4-5 words can get annoying after 3-4 hours.

I keep a seperate chatbox for tells and type into that box, Jeb...

that way I can mouseclick to my main chatbox, cast whatever I need to and then continue with what I was typing uninterrupted..

I can't see why you would have to click out of a chat box to move around. I know hotbuttons and all that but you can mouse click them just so you know, and a neat trick (well not really a trick I thought it was common knowledge until I read this thread) is if you hold alt and press a number, it will cast that spell gem. Unless you need to use hotbuttons, which except to send pet (and since that is done near the start of the fight I talk AFTER sending the pet) I completely ignore. Just use some of those lesser known hotkeys and you will be able to talk fine while kiting or whatnot :D

At what lvl can a Necro solo here without worry, to get nice drops and such went in at lvl 58 with another Shaman lower lvl 56 i think and we got attkd by so many mobs was unreal managed to kill like 8 or 9 then he died, I did FD and then stood after getting message and rez'd him then we decided maybe a group would be best atm. But when can I solo there almost 60 now and was wondering?

Any help or experience you have from this zone would be most appreciated.

If you were both 61 or so it'd be alot easier/safer, but you'd have to watch what your doing still. Truth-be-told even at 65 and well geared adds there can over-run almost anyone...

I duo in seb with a 52 necro and a 62 shaman and I have no problems at all. The most important thing to remember about hunting in seb is to... SNARE EVERYTHING!

hehe the first time I ever had to have my corpse summoned (before I was a necro) was an adventure down to Disco in Seb - we broke disco without a problem and were in the process of breaking Disco2 - when a mob took off like lightning heading back towards a repopping disco.... bard and druid forgot to even try to snare... to make a long story short FROGS can do a lot of damage very, very quickly.

AND they are all going to bring friends, and there is always some little weinie frog that runs off while you are fighting to go get 50 more of his friends...what makes it so nice to AoE faction there.
