Pick a class, pick "attunable" and then see what you can solo. I sort by level 70, 75, 80, etc. Some people don't have the ability or the time to farm attunable drops, but a lot of people have access to cash, it seems. I've sold 2 Obliteration maces, which have a worser ratio than the crook for 100K on trader, and 30K. One of them in less than 30 minutes from /general "Blah blah oblit mace 30K, blah" to cash in hand.

I'm not going to tell you to soak the bards - that's your call. I've been soaked before, heh. (I remember paying 20K for Funeral pyre of Kaledor when 20K was a shit load of money.) I AM going to tell you that IF you ever see a copy of this in baz, that it will not be for 2K, like a spell from Loping Plains. It will be more like 30 - 50K. It's a rare drop, period, and very few people hunt here. I've seen people offer 50 - 75 K for this in /general on the Nameless. I've yet to see a copy for sale in baz, but I think I'd sell it for 50K. Some guild will buy it for their bards. Or some bard will crap his pants and get out his wallet. Either way, you get your money.
Just to reiterate, NO ONE HUNTS THERE. They go there for progression and they they run like hell from that place. It's a small little zone with super fast repops. I dont think it could support more than two well geared groups. Maybe 3 badly geared groups. 1 necro and a merc can tear this place apart, depending on gear and skill.
The archaic stuff...doesn't sell for a lot. The money drops are the items from named and the spells. They (both) go super fast for 5 - 8K. On my server, I'm lucky. We have a few morons that farm Bertoxx, too and mark the attunable items for 100 - 150K each. Which makes my 5-8 K look like a pittance.
I just go there for merc money and some exp, plus it's a cool little zone. Mobs are a mix of blue and light blue. Named pop very, very often in the temple area, in front of the altar. I mean, literally, you'll get at least 1 named (normally Steward of Bertox) pretty much every clear, and sometimes 2 named. I've had Steward die and the next mob that popped was ....a Steward. Bring an alt if you can for repeat drops.
