where do i get a Book of Dark Bindings
how do you combine the words in it?

Normally sold by where you get your lvl 1-8 ish spells.. usually one of the vendors close by. Hope that helps.

If you're a gnome (which your name implies) then you'd have to go to qeynos catacombs to get it. There is a necromancer guild inside there, the NPC with "Necro supplies" under it has your book =)

Freeport dark vendors. Qeynos Cats are a PAIN to navigate. Freeport is easier to get to anyway. They are in East Freeport down the funky ramp and then downstairs into the tunnles.

Why they did nto let you get one in AkAnon is beyond me.

Last time I looked they were like 20 plat. You know I am convinced they were not always No Drop too, but they are now. Anyone else notice that or am I just a forgetful old Gnome? :huh:

By the sound of it you chose the dark path of necromancy. I did the same with a mage I made. Trying to get my spells etc. was pain in the $%#@. :angry:

What I did was go to Neriak, to get all my needs. You have to kinda, creep in and con one of the guards that roam. You should have dubious/amiable faction with them.

If your faction needs a boost!! you can kill halflings. They are to the left of the bridge (before crossing the bridge as you head for neriak) just follow the river bank you will see thier camp on your left.

After you have killed a few just head back to the bridge and con a guard again. If your still not on good faction kill more Halflings etc.

Ok! now just go into Neriak and get what ever you need. If you are looking for the Necro trainer he is in the "Third Gate" area behind the library. I think you can get your "Book of Bindings " there also. If you can't find your book there you will have to go to the "Casters Area".

"Casters Area"....As you are making your way to the third gate area, you will have to open two (2) port cullis type gates. One (1) large (the first you come too) and a smaller gate.

Once you have gone through the smaller gate, turn right and follow the wall you will go up a ramp. At the top is another small port cullis gate. Go through it and head straight. You should see stairs heading downwards. Go down and you will be in a hallway with doors. Open each one untill you find the npc who will sell your "Book of Bindings".

If you should have any trouble, just give a shout in the zone, we DE's are ok people, there will be someone who will help you.

When you get your "Book of Dark Bindings" just put the required words in the book(no stacking by the way) then hit combine. Hopefully you will succeed. Oh!! by the way, you mut have the book in your inventory for this to work!
