Well I just recently started a necro, well last night actually. hehe
Bascilly got sick of sitting around waiting for groups with my ranger, or having my ranger getting killed all the time.( his name is Woodisgood Dieingranger) I always say dieing should be a regualr skill for rangers hehe.
I like the idea of being able to solo and not being dependent on a group all the time, hence I made a necro.
I will sync my megalo and post his gear(not great, but not bad for just starting off)
So Hell-o all.

Dying is an innate ability of a ranger (no hotkey needed). Don't get me wrong they have their place (coh anchors, under my shoe...lfg in pok/pot etc etc) anyway welcome to necromacy, there's no going back now........

haha ya dieing is an inate ability for rangers as is LFG/LFA on LDON channel haha I just could not handle it anymore.
I am loving the solo life of my necro so far. Only been two days, but it was funny soloing in Crushbone last night at lvl 6. haha Needless to say the Pally, Ranger, and Druid grouping were not enjoying it as much as I was. So far a very fun class indeed.
Thanks for the hearty welcome, Cheers

Well after playing for a couple of hours last night, I am convinced. I love this class.
Soloing reds, or yellows, or even whites was near impossible with my Ranger. It seems to be a breaze with my Necro. I realize I am still at a low lvl, but so far it is fun.
Except when a druid trained his mob on me causeing me to zone and lose my pet. At least if you are going to train to zone line send out a an /ooc it would be nice, and it is not tough to make a hotkey for it.

Rangers make awesome pets. I just wish it didn't cost an EE to summon the next one.
Welcome aboard!

Just read the what it is to be a Necro post, very well done. Can't wait to go home and take my young necro to Kurns and solo him up. I will sync my megalo acct. toinght so you can see the gear he has, he is in desperate need to help I think. My first time with a caster class other than a lvl 20 Cleric, so most of his gear is borrowed from the Cleric, A ranger, and A warrior. So not to hot haha.

Ok well I got my eq sorta synced, my gear is pretty on spot, but he is about lvl 13 now. Ya my gear is pretty much junk I took off other toons I have made and given up on. Any suggestions for gear that is reasonably priced that could last me up to around lvl 30 or so? Most peoples gear is high end.
