Lich Illusions

Pity we get our Lich spells to give us illusions of skeletons & a spectre but I really wish one of our Lich line changes us to one of the Shadowy Assassins or Xui Vius models.

Even if Arch Lich had us looking like those Ice Spectres from Velketor it would be cool

The same goes for us tail-masters, when we use lich we loose our tail! I really wish they would just use the iksar skeleton model for iksars necros. But then again, if it's an illusion they could just say that it's a human skeleton illusion not your actual skeleton, but then again, change the message: Your skin peels away :P

I wanna look like one of those red ones from the BB 5th aniversarry event. It would be cool if you could be a red skelly and still keep all your equip and stuff on tho lol.

Personally I would rather see one of the Xi's from ME. I mean the spectre looks good and all but if you have ever seen one of those you WILL s*** your pants, not to mention it looks a LOT more human-like and the faceless idea is pretty cool. If not for lich then I think it would be a good model for the pets--or even maybe the vampires from LDoNs for pets. As you gain levels in necromancy it would only stand to reason that you would become better at the necromatic practice and slowly your pets would be more intact unto a point where they would look like a pale version of when they died. Right now our pets just look like a creature that blindly follows orders: wouldn't it be cool if the new pets had been "developed" so far that they could think for themselves after a fashion, maybe even cast spells or run when low on health?

With the intelligence of the lower level pets that sounds like trouble. i dont know about the rest of you but i swear the skelly pets have an IQ of 2 and the spectres are barely any better

lol, but I meant as we progress to level 70 (and there WILL be a level 70, probably next expansion at that) that the pets should be smarter AND more human looking: I mean out WTD pets are kickass, and smart too so why shouldn't our fulltime pets be?

What if we had a model for our pets that look like that chick we woke up with after an all night drunk. She would have a constant fear effect on anything within a certain radius (Scaring the crap out of attacker master) and nag (taunting attacker master) any mob withing 30 feet. She would threaten to call her mother at 20% life (Jobober has become enraged) instead of running. After every succesfull fight she would demand blue diamonds (following you sugar daddy master). After a close fight or, Innoruuk forbid, a death she would file that into her memory so as to remind you of it at every available oppertunity(Guarding here master but, remember the last time when...). It would be almost like real life!

Just some thoughts as I sit here sipping some Jack Daniels...

Iksar have tails in their illusions.
Robes in lich form (not necessarily your robe, but some kind of standard robe graphic)
The higher pets having a different model besides being darker.
Pet uses FD when you use FD (?)
No more girlish giggle when in lich form!

Seriously, I hate that giggle. My friends tell me necros get this wicked cackle in skelly form, and when I finally get Call of Bones...I giggle...you don't think a master of death over life should giggle, do you? And I really want my damn tail.

I'd like to see a pet that looks like an assling druid, just so I can send it against a kick ass mob and watch it get beat on :D . I could sit there all day and chain summon pets if that were the case.
As for a Lich model, an iskar skellie or a shadow would be cool.
