Im sure most read the guide for riwwi and certainly jeb said he tried it, well i decided to also try it, have been soloing there for the last 4 days and found it to be a absolute goldmine.
And yes i died the first few tries but pressed on, and im sure glad i did, total loots to date are hardened serpent- scale greaves / dried clay armguards / cloak of devastation / gargantuan armlinks / silken gloves of the ikaav x2 all this has netted me a very handsome profit.
Experience kinda sucks but the loot makes up for it ie the sell price, the best way to pull the mobs that come from the tunnel entrances (east and west) is to let them start beating on the slaves, once they have started beating on slaves it wont matter if you have cast a resisted root and or dark, they will not turn there attention to you until they have finished killing the mob they are currently killing, i have had up to 3 resist roots before it took while mob was beating on a slave.
And yes ive found safest way is to get root on then dark it, if it looks like mob is gunna kill slave before you get root or dark on then i fd and let it go and wait on the next round.
The other thing is, all mobs that come from tunnel will despawn and another mob will replace it, so if you miss a named, then its gone.

All in all im having a blast .

It was ok hehe, I got the armguards and a serpentine necklace there in about an hour when I went. I had killed in there a few times before...but not being able to kill the two level 65 Pixxt there really irked me to no end and I left before any named spawned and didn't go back until I saw that guide. I've gone 12 PH's on the offiator spawn w/o a named and consider that more trouble then it's worth now. The lack of other things to kill kind of makes it hard to go back for me... 6 mobs per cycle is just too boring for my taste. The snake-lady named was kinda fun to kill with the pet and all that, she hit me for 1220 when I started tankin her (I had to kite her, giggle). The mastruq war medic pet IS rootable, so that made him alot easier. Other then that it's just_another_loot_camp_05214 for me now, alot like droga...and just as boring.

Just outta interest Jeb what was your method of pullin the officiator, ie without to much messin around, did ya invis up to the top and pull down or what ?

Ya I lifetapped his ass and dropped down.... Is a waste though, the named don't spawn. I watch movie instead next time and screw this mob....
