Hey....i'm a lvl 29 gnome nec and i wanna know where i should solo....heres some things about me that might help the decision....
ive always got a full 10 slot bag filled with summoned 500hp belts as well as 2 bags filled with "Summoned: Hand of Ixiblat"
i have 255 int, although i have probably over 280 but im at the cap.....i have all my spells so far and i can hold my own pretty well. All skills, gear and stuff like that are in my magelo....the name is "Random" for anonymity ;p

well,
I am not the most experienced necro out there (only lvl 39 so far),
but i will try myself on giving some advice anyway ;)
Get some focus effect items with burning affliction (most important), spell haste, mana preservation and maybe range enhancement. (there are 2 easy quests for focusII items in a newbie quest thread here). a little more hitpoints wouldnt hurt imo and from the eq i guess you are not among the poorest as you will feel the hp impact once you use call of bones regularily and start to pull much agro with venom of the snake. I never died because i was oom, but often from being out-of-hp.
I myself made quite a lot of LDONs in MM to get points for the lvl39 spell dark soul, but in the time wasnt dungeon crawling i hunted in overthere or brutes/forestgiants in warslik woods (i wonder why no1 mentioned those before, nice exp/money). Best alternative for exp is HHK, but depending on your server you might have severe problems getting into a camp and soloing is no alternative in there.
For cheap (under 1.5k on stromm) or easy to quest stuff with focus effects you can take a look at my magello in the sig.
take care and good hunting
Gnolls in SK are good exp...the good old stand by spires. And they are NEVER camped anymore. And they run out from the spires in a straight line when feared, as long as you pull them to the tree, so no adds. And not bad cash, and you can sell the dropping daggers and whips in the bazaar for other pet classes, the ones you dont use of course.

255 Int humbling the soon to be Arch Lich with a whopping 197....Well, if you want to take the evil road, I would suggest the Sister's and Dwarves in OOT. These mobs are in range of level 20-25 I believe and garnered me good experience up through 35 (even though light blue at the time). The advantage to these spawns is that they're on an roughly a 7 minute timer, and there are up to 7 safely doable spawns on the island; maybe more, but i dont like to mess with the two near the trainer who will end your life in the blink of an eye, and OOT corpse runs suck....look me up in game if u want more thorough directions to killing NPC's.
