22 and stumped

im a 22 necro and am completely stumped on where to hunt. i can either group or solo doesnt matter. also id like to upgrade my gear so any suggestions on where to farm plat for my level. and any equip upgrades you see are welcome.

Paludal is only really good up to 24. If you have your undead slow spell you could give Unrest a try: you'd have to go into the house for XP, but with care you can use the undead pacify spell (Numb the Dead or something, I forget) and slow to single pull mobs to you and have the pet tank, or you may well be able to get in a group there. The XP bonus in the zone is pretty large, my Druid got from 25 to 30 there in groups in 5-6 hours.

For slower XP but more money you could try the spiders in East Karana: they should still be dark blue, easy to fear kite and drop lots of silks that you can sell in the Bazaar. If you get bored of that, run over to the Aviak town in South Karana where the Aviaks and Centaurs drop some gems, bronze weapons and ringmail that sell for a few pp each to merchants.

Also, when you hit 24/25 you might want to hit the Needlites in Echo Caverns: they're decent XP and a good way to max out your Defence skill by tanking them with your damage shield (Banshee Aura) up. Their wings and legs sell for about 2pp each and the Queen drops a dagger and cloak that sell to merchants for about 10pp and maybe 20-50pp in the Bazaar.

Oh, but if you do go to Unrest, watch out for the Fabled mobs: they were easy for me at 61 when I was wandering through a few nights ago, but at lower levels they'd make Torklar Battlemaster (Unrest's infamous undercon who's level 20 but hits for 80 damage) look like a wuss. One of them managed to kill a level 60 Monk while I was there.

You can do the Gaint Fort in Warslik Woods. They drop a few items that sell 8-10plat and the Forest Loop which sells for 255+plat.


Unrest is good also. Just stay away from the brewers and you will be safe on Torklar. You can set up camp at the tunnel ent and pull there, the front door, or a room near the back of the house that is always empty. Don't head to the 3rd floor or the basement till about 30ish. You might be able to do the fabled barkeep.
