Getting the books is going to be the real PITA (pain in the a**), but once you do, the quest is damn simple...but that's all covered in the write up and i'm not up to reprinting it all here in detail unless begged to for some reason.

...to do the Phylactery part you have to get all tradeskills near 200 (harder than Blessed Coldain Prayer Shawl) to do the combines to create this. When you do, give the Phylactery to the assistant and tell him its a worthless PoS. He will grumble a give and give you back this instead...

Sure, the Regen spell doesn't stack with many other types of regen spells out there. But how often have you been solo'ing and wish you had an item of unlimited charges of regen to offset your current Lich spell? OMFG I love this. I don't recommend wearing it all the time unless the neg STA & HP is nothing to you, and you'd rather have the +10 INT (but if you're like me you'd rather have less INT and more STA / HP) .. but just pop it in a main inventory slot or RNG slot and instant right click it. Can be hit just like JBoots, don't even have to stand still to cast it.
OK. Now go, hunt those books, the prices on them grows by 1000pp an hour as more people find out about this quest. I was lucky, I did the debugging of it with the EQTC gang so I got mine kinda quick...before people were selling the books for over 40,000pp each.
