yea the funny thing is, i have SO much int, that i ditched the rings for the 75 hp rings, although i dont like the -10 SV it doesnt much matter at my leve....and replaced the boots with black fur boots, and i still have 255 int :D

There's alot you can do...after 55ish, until then though your gear should be more then adequate. Something that might help you (pending on how fast you level him) is to watch for spells and items priced low in the bazaar and pick them up for later, IE the Seduction of Saryrn spell for under 15k, or Blood of thule for 25k. I can't even begin to think of how many spectral's I"ve turned in and I've seen 2 SoS's, it's not a good ratio...and when I used to exp in hoh (pre drop-nerf) I'd turn in 3-4 at a time, sometimes daily. It's a horid drop rate.

Conversely I turned in 5 runes, and got all my spells with only 2 duplicates...I've since turned in more, and have been getting Word of Terris alot =(, but I think that's rare, and I just got the short end of the stick.

You may also want to look for ornate silk patterns like, legs, arms, and a wrist. They're very good pieces (as far as ornate goes) and can really boost your ability to hunt, so...those are recommendable, but either sell very high, or are on sale very rarely...start shopping now, imo. Maybe earthweave head, feet, hands, robe...would also help. Girdle of mithaniel marr...Just look for deals and hold them in the bank until the red numbers go away some.

Just my opinion, but I think you are looking too heavily into the value of Int gear... you are getting very limited returns on your Int post 200 ... very similar to my starting gear (started Gnekroe twinked with about 20k, got him mostly INT/MANA) and realized that I could keep my INT above 200 and gain 1-200 hp easily.

Look for gear in this order -> HP / MANA / (INT | STA). Any good necro hp piece should have corresponding good mana, and probably +5 or so to INT. You don't even have to watch your int and it will sky rocket with your HP gear.

Focus > ALL the gear. At most any level Afflication Efficiency, Affliction Haste, Burning Affliction, Extended Range, and Mana Preservation are going to be more useful to you than the piece of gear you are replacing them for.

ie. Ring slot: Fine Antique Ring > any other ring that is probably available to you (this is taking into the consideration that no other MPII or better item is available to you). It effectively gives you a 10% larger mana pool. Until you can replace that MP I wouldn't even consider switching it out for any attainable ring that I can think of at those levels (this is even considering money not being an object in the bazaar) as no single item will give you 10% more mana (at lvl 1 sure, but that isn't really even debateable).

AE, AH, BA, and ER are godsends when it comes to soloing... I didn't really enjoy soloing until I spent about 1k in the bazaar getting a plethora of focus items - with those focus items my strength was debatedly doubled if not trippled).

GO focus and don't look back... make your goals to equip the essential focus's and if the focus item you have doesn't have great stats, have something you can swap it out for when the focus item isn't being used (ie. ER isn't that useful in dungeons).

Good suggestions to look for are the ceramic items that give some stats and focus effects starting at lvl 46. I think you would be hard pressed to find a better waist item than "Bone-clasped Girdle" with BAIII on it...

Look for the focus's and you will be amazed at how it changes your gameplay.

One more thing... get an EARRING OF THE SOLSTICE! (~4kish if you buy the pieces yourself (server dependent)) that will last you a long, long, time.

the stone just shows those stats atm cuz its not augmented into anyhting and in the charm slot, and i just got a deal on the staff so i bought it early...anymore questions? lol
