guys i need help. #1 yes i am retarded so save that response. What I CAN NOT figure out for the life of me, is this site actually useable? I saw no, absolutely no way to become a premium member. I also saw absolutely no way to creat a thread on their forum or to even respond to a thread already started. The site might be the most user unfriendly i've ever visited. I feel I am missing something simple but for the life of my can't figure it out. I've searched and searched and looked everywhere. The site is extremely tiny so there isnt many places buttons saying PREMIUM or POST THREAD could hide but apparently they are hiding from me. Any help appreciated.

I think right under your screen name (upper left corner) might be a spot to upgrade to premium. Maybe under Settings? I've been Premium for a goodly while, so I'm afraid I don't recall.

Some of the forums are read only. If you are logged in and are in an open forum, the New Topic button is upper right corner. Reply button is bottom right.

You're right, though... it's a pretty sterile site.

I love Magelo--I only subscribed to it because it was a guild requirement but for $12 bucks a year I couldnt complain and I think it was worth it. The only problem I have with it is how long it takes them to get it updated after patches--uuuuughh!

Just a thought. Are you using one of the less popular (and vastly superior) browsers? I believe I first went to the site using Konqueror and it was basically displayed as a blank page. Never got to the bottom of it as the latest version of Mozilla displays everything properly.

If you're using Internet Explorer, go to Tools - Internet Options - Advanced, and scroll down to HTTP 1.1 settings. Make sure Use HTTP 1.1 and Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections are checked if you have problems with Magelo.

Then open Magelo's page. If it still doesn't load correctly, hold down CTRL and click the Refresh button.

If all that doesn't work. . .go download IE from Microsoft again
