solo at 56

i am a necro of the 56th level and was wondering where are some good places to solo...im getting tired of ME and tried aggro kiing in PoN but it takes too long jus to kill one of em hehe, any help would be appreciated

I have looked through alot of this forum (Which is great BTW) and was surprised to see nothing about the most excellent hunting ground located in KATTA KASTELLUM. Not sure of the levels, my necro is only 39, but when I was doing the graveyard with my Paladin, there was usually several necros in the zone, usually wanting to camp the graveyard, to kill guards.

By all accounts, its great XP and very easy and safe kills. They would kill so much that they would ask me to loot the corpses to keep the respawns up and they could not carry any more. If memory serves me correclty, they are good for upto 60+?? It was because of this I started a Necro, and have played the necro little since.

Hard to get to it - you need to get a TL or port to Twilight, but there are loads of safe places in there to camp the guards. Also a few entrances to run to if your in trouble. Go check it out!!

thats played the Pally little since - not the Necro. Necros are easily the best class in the game, and I have played them all

I'M a 57 necro on the tunare server and I found a great place for soloing... VEKS
my method is to g into a room full of sentrys and whatnot... charm nearest one sick it on another slow whatever he is fighting... wipe out room by this point fido should be around 20% health....then park him all the way across the room FD off the charm root kill and wait for repops... worked really well for me last night and the loot wasnt half bad either

I have been in Katta for a little while now. The Lego's on the wall as you enter from Twilight Sea are easy experience and decent loot at level 56.

I just invis up and run through the entrance and along the wall to the right till I get to the "cave" entrance. There are 3 gnome/dwarf Lego's in there and 1-2 that wander along the walkway on top of the wall. I just Darkness, CoC and Fear then let my pet tank. If you get an add you can just Trep, Dark and let him sit until the pet finishes off one and then fear that one when root breaks.

I can kill 4-5 before I have to med ...great exp.

From my two cents I am also getting frustrated at the lack of effective hunting grounds from 56+. I had quit EQ shortly before the new UI had come out and now I've been getting back into it. So being ignorant of planes I had to be walked around like a noobie again as my friends showed me around PoK and the like. They even made room for me in a PoV group and I must say I've never seen XP from the "inner" my entire life! Power leveling could not make the blue bar fly faster! Now we can't group everyday mind you so I try to solo where I remember on Luclin. Now unless there are some undead planes--since I had been soloing skeles in Grey (which has some bug where maybe 3 or 4 mobs could ever see invis, counting the skeles which for some reason or another has been glitched for awhile)--I have no clue where to solo without having to spend an entire mana bar pulling one mob. I dislike aggro kiting and until I can get my own wizard tash stick to lower resists--I could wipe Elysians if only their resists weren't so high--I'm effectively out of solo spots. Any help would be appreciated because at my level, the only time my guild needs a necro is when they have bodies to summon.

Go to the entrance to Nadox off of Gunthak cave...it is the 2nd left as you head to Dulak [Check map]. There are 3 Elementals here. At 56 pull 1 at a time with Dark then root and put on CoC and BoD...then sic pet....put on the Shadowbond and giggle at the exp....just try it : )
