Hole Key

Due to the recent "stuck charcter" issues, I can't seem to be able to squeeze through the crack in the Hole door anymore. I was actually thinking about breaking down and going to Paineel and buying one, but never having made an Erudite, I don't know how to get into Paineel (the actual city, not the zone) I see where the door is on the LoY map but I can't seem to get through it. Do I need a key or just faction work or both, I'm an Ikky so I assume I'll need faction to be able to talk to the NPC who has the keys anyways?

Well, you're an ikky so it might only take about 5000 kills in the Warrens. :)

You get a key by hailing the skeleton guards by the small tower thing in the Paineel newbie zone. Then click on the door to enter the city. As for the key... look for Rallia Hapera. The key sells for like 120pp or so. The graphic of the key looks like a bag too, just FYI. <_<

What Skulmar Failed to Mention is that the lock is the Rock sitting there on the ground. It Brings the elevator up.

Three hours stint in the Warrens got me from Max hate to indifferent with the skellie guards. Hopefully another three hour stinit will get me able to talk to him. He says i need to "Prove myself to the cause before he will discuss such matters with me" Better than when he said, "I didn't know slime could speak Common tongue." LoL


EDIT: Ok so i did another hour in the warrens and now I'm kindly to the skelly guards. So I hailed him and he said "ugh you need Keys?" So I said "yeah I need keys!" and he handed me a bone crafted key and then i went and clicked on the elevator rock and got the "You are not holding the key" message !!! Do I need more faction or is this the wrong key?

Ok I have a 52 Iksar necromancer of Brell server. Now to get my hole key I went to the bazaar and for 110pp I bought a potion of illusion euridite. Now all I did was drink the potion and then ask the outside guard by the newbie zone for a key, I then used the key to gain access to the city. After gaining access I went to the superior surplus store in paineel, which is located near the necromancer guild. There is a lady who sells the "hole key" and this keys looks like a bag and is no drop. The "hole key" runs about 120pp or so depending on your charisma. Btw make sure you make haste to get this key it lasts about 20 minutes I believe so. I hope this helps.

Quick note - this works for the Cazic-Thule worshipping non-Erudite. If you don't worship CT, this just negates the racial part of the faction; they'll still dislike you based on your god.
