Dark Elf because of their INT and just overall look. Have a gnome mage, and they're pretty fun being small and all, but I can't stand Human (who can?), and Erudite, although best int, has less balanced stats than the others. Iksars are nice, but just never thought about them because of their low int, which of course can now be brought up VERY fast.

Gnomes rule for their size. Especially if you're in a FFA loot group and some moron is ninja looting, you can unleash the most cruel forms of looting by being so low to the ground.

Of course, if he's a SOCIAL looter, you'll still have to work for it.

lol yea and what i like about being a gnome is makeing fireoworks people eat those things up if u selling them in pok after the day is done i go there and just sell them i make like 800pp sometimes but normally i make like 500pp

I have an Iksar Monk that is great, but I always hated the XP penalty. I also never liked the Iksar in a robe look. I made a Dark Elf more for the evil role playing aspect of being a Necro. It was really the only choice for me. I mean what else would I be...a Gnome.....LOL.

My first necro was a dark elf and I got him to level 11 and lost interest and deleted him. I got tired of seeing almost 100% dark elf necros and I had a high level iksar necro friend. So, why not iksar?
I picked the Iksar and had lots of fun up to 50. Then I heard about the extra exp usage. That was a bummer but then I remember when I have lich going I lose almost 0 life. In my opinion, if I was to make a nother necro I would choose Iksar or Gnome(they just look cool). And BTW why am I seeing so little edruite necros?

Hello.

Delfs are so common and boring as with the erudites to a lesser point gnomes.

I chose ikky cause at high levs we can keep up hp to mana longer than any other race which is like having perm kei.Low int is nothing anymore with the bazaar int items are easy to find and buy.

Also there a ring quest out there,have'nt found it yet but trying ard.

The rings give hp and mana regain in a big way.Ikky with these 2 rings on is the uber necro perm hp to mana up add the effects of rings no hp loss big mana regain.Now if i can only find that quest :P
