Holy fuggin shit. Yay for SoE on not taking all their time on EQ2. At first I wasn't going to read the article then i saw the pictures of rat and the bat.. Wow. Late spring is to long to wait thats like... um a few months or something.

Personally I'd much rather stop crashing in PoK and actually be able to dye my robe the way I used to before the last big patch. Are people actually leaving the game because they don't like the looks of the rats?

People may end up leaving because of the lure of better graphics in the new eq coming out or other games soon to be released. Personally that is the only reason I would consider moving, so I will be staying with this version anyway. Hence I am glad that they will still be improving on graphics and stuff. What I am really hoping for is that this new collision system and stuff that eliminates current bugs will take care of those kiting issues such as crazy pathing and mob warping and the ever popular subterrainian mobs. That will be a difinite improvement and well worth it.

I think the new graphics may draw some people who play less or dont play anymore back an all in all will be an improvement for the game i havent played in the last couple months an i'll be back in EQ to check out the new changes an see how everything is now. I think it's about damn time for some changes there too havent had any real graphics changes since luclin came out an the character models changed an that seemed to draw new life to the game. Fixing the old bugs would be nice but It's Everquest theres always been bugs an i'm sure there will be as long as EQ lasts they fix'em slowly an new ones show up give it time an the bugs you dont like will be replaced with new ones hehe honestly id rather see this than most anything else right now in EQ :)
