59+ and looking for a good solo place for EP

heya there skeletora greyskulz here .

I have recently reactivated my account and am trying to get back into things .... i am 1 yellow into 59 and am looking for a good solo place to gather etheral parchments because i understand that that is what is needed to get all the 60+ spells .....

i know i can buy them ..b ut hell on my server they are like 12 k or more each.. some are over 100 k to buy .. just crazyness .....

any help would be appreciated .....

im also loking for a cool undead typw zone that i could really have some fun in soloing....

ANd any good tactics for these places would be appreciated.

Plane of Storms frogs/Plane of disease lightcrawlers can drop parchments for 61-62 spells. Halls of honor a drops spectrals for 63-64 spells, and Veksar is a great undead zone with good loot/xp. Sorry dont have time to explain more on this, but i have a PoS guide posted here if you wanna start there. Best xp at your level imo

Plane of Valor has some good spots to aggro kite - the OC ("Outer Cave") camp is my favorite. I haven't tried to -solo- aggro kite those Razorfiends yet, I suspect it might take 10 minutes to kill one by yourself at 59 considering the huge number of HP they have. If you get caught with your pants down, though, you're going to die. The mobs double/triple in the 450-500 HP range and have somewhere around 20-25K HP each. Some see invis, some don't. Ethereal Parchment drops about one every 40-50 mobs.

I killed a few razorfeinds at 56 at the "Outer" camp, long ass fight and was only yeilding 1% a kill where the golems were giving 2% as with PoS frogs. PoV is not worth it till 61

heh, its FC, for front cave, and BC for back cave,there are two camps in taht vicinity.

and yea.. good necro kite area.. lots of grass

I jus started soloing RCY golems at 61.. got 62 and half now doin HoH

Yaz is definitely right -- the XP at the crystalline golems is significantly better than the Razorfiends, but I think the camps are a bit more dangerous too. I've had much better luck vs. golems at EW/WW with a tank/slower/cleric + 3 DPS group.

It's funny how different servers have different names for camps - it's Inside Cave (IC) and Outside Cave (OC) for us on XEV. The OC camp, in a good chain-pulling two-mob-at-once kite group can yield 30% regular XP an hour at 58-59. I think that's pretty good - but I readily admit this is my first level 58+ toon.

I'm going to assume that PoS frogs are snarable. The damned frogs in PoV are immune to changes in run-speed, as our group found out at OC. We were fortunate that SoE is about 5% faster than a ticked-off frog. The dotters did their job and took the frog down, but the ranger was out of breath!

yea the PoS frogs are snarable, but.. theres two different sets of frogs heh, one set is towards the desert area, where u exit the cave and they re jus everywhere... well if you're accustomed to killin the forest frogs (near the giant fort), you'd think ahhh, more meat.. imma get pet up snare his arse, and get to work.. but heh. these frogs summon in this area, and you ll die a horrible death.

And the golems in RCY is where I like to kite.. the camp is single pullable for the most part, in the rear of the RCY camp theres a spawn of 3 golems.. snare the first, let em run to u for 3 seconds or so, and fd.. two that u didnt snare will run back to their spawn, the snared one will remain sittin in the spot he stopped at when u fd'd, and u have yourself a split pull.. they have a lil bit more hps than PoS frogs, but nothing significantly tougher to deal with.. xp still rocks, and you dont have to worry about the gimp down time the frogs in PoS give u..

theres the camps where maybe different servers call it different names, but for me LCY stands for "left court yard" and Rcy stands for "Right Court yarD" and Ccy, which is a rather unused camp coz of possible trains from the RCY and LCY would be "center Court yard"... basically it's the camps along the walls of the big building opposite side of the zone where theres large bridges which u run to get to the other side of the buildings.. once u get out to the bottom of the ramps, you ll see a large wooden door, that would be center court yard, if u go right, and around the corner, you ll see an area which is called "right court yard" and if you go left, obviously its left court yard..


These mobs in RCY are lvl 62, with them being white to me at 62 hehe..
