giants and guards

howdy. part of the reason i decided to start a necro was seing people killing giants and guards. what im couriouse abt is at what levs can they start being killed? i know im only 16 now but its something im looking forward to doing. if anyone knows of lists somewhere of levels to kill and areas to kill different giants and guards please post it as id really like to see it. thank you

You can start working on giants now in Warsalik Woods. Small giant fort there and a few wanderers. 16 may be a bit on the low end (I can't remember what their level range is) but if that is true, you are getting pretty close to the appropriate level.

something i just remembered is de guards in nektulos forest are a bunch of wimps. i wont kill them myself but any non-de necros should beable to start killing them at abt lev 12. they do drop bronze weapons . my mage killed from abt 12 to 16 i think then moved on

Qeynos Guards up by SFG entrance are level 25 mobs. But have hella MR and Zilly never successfully managed to kill one.

Misty Thicket Guards are level 25 & 30. Still kind of MR but Zilly is having pretty good success there at level 32.. (and the fact that they drop 11pp minimum in vendor loot per kill makes the deaths she eats a little more bearable)

Felwithe Guards are level 38-42 mobs. IIRC from Perse levelling there, they're also a trifle magic resistant, but drop a 20ppish sword every time.

There are lots of other guards out there, those are just the 3 sets that I have experience with.

I can't remember which one, but i know there's a gnome guard that i took at lvl 35 with my necro for a few levels. It was about the only guard in Steamfont that wasn't MR boosted to hell.

And the Felwithe guards are great to kill. It's always fun but you just have to remember that they Lay Hands, making them a bit longer to kill then the others.

DE guards aren't that fun, because for some reason, i hit one of em that is walking aroudn and i see a dragoon running after me.....no matter if i attack them FAR away from the bridge, i always get a dragoon en route to me lol. So only take the one near the Lavastorm zone.
