Looking for some ideas on where to hunt iam 61 now 60 went by in 5 hours in PoD, but there only some much one can take killing the same mobs over and over again. After doing PoM from 54 to 58 and PoD from 58 to 61, I would like to mabey fine a zone with some Coins and loot to drop. Any ideas i would be greatful.

This just and fyi but main is a 65/85 pally and have not played him since i started back up on my necro he was 47 now 61. I must say The power of a necro is unbelivable.

Kite the forest frogs in PoS ...

Or kite in PoV ... http://www.necrotalk.com/index.php?showtopic=1431

I personally did the PoS frogs until 62 then went straight to HoH and kited Valorian Gaurds. I still get 1% reg xp and 5% aa xp per kill in HoH solo.
Unless you're PoF flagged you wont get better solo exp IMO.

I would say if you are looking for coin and loot as much as exp, I would hit Veksar. Exp there is ok for me at 61, but you definatly have the chance for some nice drops if you can get the camps. I have not been beyond the pool room as of yet, but I have seen posts that say a 61 necro should be able to handle the spawns with the good stuff. I will be checking out more of this zone very soon.

Grind through one more level and then you can hit up HoH and kite there. Very fun and realatively easy.

Get a group in the Plane of Valor.

PoV Golems. You can agro kite on the hill side at the "NE" location. It is not often camped. You do need at least run3 or SoW potions. It is a good idea to get virtue or temp before going. The key is, dont let dooming darkness wear off, when it does you will need to run for a bit and cast root, call pet off, recast dooming. Regular root worked the best for me. The golems "warp" alot less since one of the more recent patches making a dooming resist or wear off less deadly. They can hit for 500's. When / If you get tired of solo'ing grab a group at one of the other locations, slower xp, but requires alot less effort on your part.

Sorry to add this post in two locations, but I recently posted this (5 mins ago) in the pinned topic, not sure if members check back there and it pretty much sums up alot of the soloing spots at this level range. I have added a few more details however that I just thought of...

Hey all, just to add some spots I haven't seen mentioned here much.

Recently my favorite solo spot has been PoV due to Druids charm killing Frogs in PoS and have only recently started learning HoH, although I must say it is way easier than I thought it would be at lvl 62. I could have sworn that I saw someone post there were mobs in HoH that cannot be snared and that is what kinda turned me off from checking it out earlier.

In PoV Outter Caves are almost always taken by a group. If not then this is an ok place with the exception of having to split mobs occasionally. I say ok because there is a much better, rarely camped spot in PoV. Invis and DMF yourself and then run into the castle looking building towards middle of zone. Run up the ramp until you can look over the right side and see a large area below you. As far as I have seen none of the Crystalline Golems or spiders here can see invis, so run over to the East wall.

Target will be Crystalline Golems, standard Agro kite setup. They have lots of HP's so I still use Mage summoned pet gear to increase DPS. The spiders in the area summon, and cast, avoid these. There is also a Lightcrawler type mob that drops a piece of the AD key. It cannot be snared but it can be agro kited in "almost" the same way. If you don't have Affliction haste then your gonna get hit alot. They don't summon but they are fast. But you should only have to kill one of these ever to get key piece as it drops everytime.

The experience at lvl 62 is 1-2% exp per kill. Being an Iksar with exp penalty I normally get 1% per kill and 2% every 4 or 5 kills regular exp. AA exp is 6-7% per kill. The best thing here as compared to frogs in PoS is there are always mobs to pull no matter how fast you kill, They never get in the kite path as long as you use the terrain, and you don't have to run far to find the mobs.

Every single Crystalline Golem is lvl 62 with no exceptions in my week of coming here. All even cons and might resist my lvl 29 snare 1 out of 5 casts except on the rare chain resists. However there is plenty of room to gain distance and recast. Affliction Haste IV and Affliction Effeciency IV are cheap and even though they have horrible stats the mana you save is better than an item that has 10INT 100Mana 100HP's etc etc IMO. Trust me I've switched from a 40kpp Primary wand to a 4kpp Ceramic Gavel just for the focus effects. If in a group where I'm mostly nuking for fast DPS then I'll switch back...

Hope this adds an option for those that often find the other places overcamped. ALL of the mobs below CAN be snared barring the normal resists.

PoV OC RazorFiends (Level of mobs vary from 62-64 in my experiences here)
PoV Crystalline Golems (All level 62)
HoH Valorian Guards (All level 62)
PoS Frogs (Loroks, All llevel 60)
PoN Gargs (Slow exp after lvl 60-61) (All level 57)

Remember, once you are 4 levels higher than mob the exp will slow down considerably. With the tools Necro's are given with our ability to agro kite red mobs there's no reason the exp should ever slow down IMO...

If there are other Exp agro kiting targets at lvl 62+ that I have missed that we can add to our list please let me know. I like to have as many options as possible when I get to my favorite camp and find out is's also someone elses favorite .

Problem with HoH is sentrys at level 62, without Force Shield if you get hit once and stunned, you're in trouble. I would recommend PoV until 62 at least, but much more likely 65(stupid chanters and bards charm kitting in my basements).

Actually, while HoH is possible at 62, the biggest difference you'll see is trying it at 63, with a new snare, force shield, pet and horror. The spells from 64-65 make a minor difference, nothing compared to what you get at 63.

Also, my preferred kiting spot in HoH is not in the basement. On the map (http://www.eqatlas.com/planes/hallsofhonormap.html), in the centre of the south section, you see two little wings with a cubby between them. This same pattern is shown flipped in the north centre part as well, however there are more mobs in that section so don't bother with it. In the southern part, invis in then split the two guarding the entrance to one of the rooms, then everything will be a single pull if you pull them as they pop. Do one side, and when that is going fast enough, add in the room on the other wing as well. While you are kiting in the hallway, go back and ofrth and into the cubby as you like, the trick to not getting hit is to watch the mob as he comes towards you. When his path changes from straight down the hall to a diagonal in your direction, this is when you can skirt around him without getting hit.

I did one basement in HoH at 62 NP. I was in the room with one of the Trial NPC's in it to start as there's only two mobs in the room and the NPC doesn't assist.

Well, after I got in room I uninvised to con the Quest NPC, since I figured he would be non-KOS. Was right, but as I was reading up on Allakhazam's I forgot I had dropped invised and decided to to try the room with 6 mobs :).

Well my Dummy self walked right through the Valorian Guards and proceeded to take a beating, from two at once. Luckily I had ManaSkin up and even though I did get stunned I still had 900+ HP's when I finally got away and FD.

Now mind you I did have Virtue, ManaSkin and Shield of the Arcane up to give me roughly 3500HP's but I see no reason not to come here at 62.... (Unbuffed HP's is about 2040 if I recall correctly)

As far as lvl 63 I know the new Rogue pet would (should) be better DPS, and the snare sounds like a dream finally come true. But I have yet to even start MM LDoNs for my horror spell, still lacking 150pts needed for my pet augment (Summoners Boon) from NRO.

However after reading the last thread posted I think I might be attempting some Solo LDoN's really soon. So hard for me to get groups in my time zone. (East Asia)

But everything aside from all that, I have seen no different between the exp killing the Valorian Guards and the Crystalline Golems in PoV. Both give me 1-2% regular exp per kill, and 6-7% AA exp per kill. Mostly just for a change of scenery if ya ask me.... and maybe slightly better cash loot...

After going back and having to speed kite Sentries at level 62, I agree with you Ayrse. Where the Guardians and Guards are simple, the Sentries are immune to run speed changes and take a long time to kill.

Maybe add a Druid, or SHM here that could SOW your pet and Slow the Sentry and it might be ok, but solo it's just not worth it if you get alot of Sentries to spawn IMO.

Usually what I'll do is pull around the sentries if I don't want to kite them for 10 minutes. Snare a guard or guardian and FD off the sentry. Yea I'm probably missing out on the exp from the sentry, but for some reason, it seems a little less efficient going after a 10min kill mob.
