Sacrifice

Hello all Necros. I am a resident on Veeshan server, and I have a 54 druid and 41 cleric. I have stripped my druid and am not playing her anymore. What I am wondering, is if there is a market out there for sacrifices, and if I could make some plat sacrificing my druid down to 46. Also, can anyone tell me approximately how much exp a sacrifice takes away? Is it the same as a regular death? I'm curious to know if there are necros out there who still pay for sacrifices, and if they would need enough to take me all the way down to 46.

Veeshan based sacrifice victims are typically paid somewhere in the vicinity of 300pp per sac. As for the exp loss, I don't know for sure, but I would imagine that it's the same as a normal death.

As long as there is a need for Essence Emeralds, there will always be a market for sacrifices. As it stands, I believe there are three spells which use Essence Emeralds as a componant: Convergence, Infusion, and Trucidation.

Just bought 50 essence emeralds for 200pp, because they were so cheap...reselling for 375pp, which is still currently cheapest in bazaar.

lol i never pay people for sacing them i see a big market on my server for EE's and i have gotten several tells people asking me to sac them cause they wanna make a quick buck in the BAZ so last night i Saced this druid like over 45 times and she let me keep 10 and cause the sell for 450 on my server i made 4500 plat for killing some one :-) sounds like a good deal to me

I am glad this question came up. Just want to make sure I got it right ;)

When I sack someone, I need to have an an emerald in my inventory, right? His/her death is unrezzable and it can be done about 10 times per level.

On my server, I never see any people offering themselves as victims to be sacked :(
Do you advertise your 'sacrifying services' to Norrath population? And how much plat do you offer them? I was watching bazaar for a few months now and essence emeralds go anywhere from 350 to 450 plat.

sacrifice is the minimum experience loss for a death, the same as fall damage. its cannt be restored, not even by a GM. its 10% xp loss if i recall correctly.

i will sacrifice when offered but thats about it. since necromancers are one of the best pl classes period if you can dual box you can make a pretty penny on the EE market, however there are much easier ways of obtaining platinum so id say just buy an EE or two for that JIC cant find a cleric need to rez yourself deal comes along. 93% for 450plat beats nothing.
