where to solo at 58??

i have been doing PoJ but thats gettin very slow...ME is ok but the pathing sux and there alwayz quaders takin all the mobs or training you..is there a good spot i can safetly solo till 59 if only?

Plane of Mischief is a nice place since the re-revamp. Yard trash there averages level 56, and the zone is usually pretty empty of players. On average, I get just under 1% xp per kill.

Since the mobs are around level 56, you can't fear kite them, aggro kiting is the only way as monks make crappy tanks LOL.

*Note* while JBoots will work, SoW is better. Buy a 10 Dose Blood of the Wolf from the Bazaar, so you don't have to have a pocket Druid around hehe.

I usually only use 4 DoTs for soloing Plane of Mischief or Plane of Nightmare: Dooming Darkness, Pyrocurer, Cessation of Cor, and Vexing Mordinia. My technique is to open with Dooming to snare, then add Pyrocurer, Cor, sic pet (make sure taunt is off), Vex, refresh dooming before it fades. Other than refreshing dooming, I usually will refresh Cor once after it fades. After that, I usually let my pet chew away at the mob. When the mob gets to about 4-5%, I will usually add another Vex so that i can regen HP while medding for a few seconds before the next pull. Also, try to med a little during the kite as well, just make some distance and sit til the mob is almost on top of you, stand and run away, rince and repeat (just don't forget how long it was since you last snared the mob).

If you have Demi Lich, I very highly suggest using it. Lich works, but you'll have alot more downtime between pulls. If you can get a PoT9 as well, you'll be practicaly oozing mana hehe.

Another option to Plane of Mischief is Plane of Nightmare. There's 2 camps, one north and one south of the graveyard/zoneout, so you can make a quick getaway in the rare event that things turn very ugly. All the mobs in those camps are single pulls, so you won't have to worry about adds as long as you stick fairly close to the west wall of the zone. As far as kiting the mobs, exact same tactics as PoM apply here. Mobs here are probably around 54-55, so they die a little faster, but give up a little less experience, not really noticable tho. Between the two planes, you'll probably get experience at the same rate when you compare the average time to kite a mob vs. the ammt of experience it gives.

wow lol thaqt is exactly what i do in PON except with out pyro because i just dinged to level 58 last night :-) dooming cast a few dots send pet with out taunt and run around med and poof really easy but becasue PON is a pretty popular zone i useuly bum a sow and regen of of a druid makes for really easy exp but you know what i think ill try to go to POM tonight just because i can :-) see if the exp is better

If you decided to try for the Dastardly Rascals on the walls, they are 57, so expect more resists. Also you have less room to menuver unless you pull them down to the yard (gotta love the invisible ramp to the left of the 'visible' one [the plane has to earn it's name someway, and that's probably the first place it does]). Just watch out for repops behind you in the yard, but you should still have plenty of time as I think the spawn time is ~20 minutes, give or take a few.

On a rather humorous side note: if you end up duoing with a druid in PoN, and the druid wants to charm something (but doesn't have DC yet), expect to be doing most of the work yourself anyway as their pets just love to break the charm right in the middle of a fight.... almost like clockwork LOL.

gahh i dont duo with druids i just bum buffs of of them as the zone in and out :-) PON is the best plcae for a lvl 58 if you were to ask me i went to POM last night and i wasent there long zone was just a little too crowded for me mobs every 3 feet out or argo range but too close for comfort unless if you go a little farther in to zone it starts to open up a little i dont know ill go back tonight and look around a little more mobs seemed to be just around the right level :-) and im sure if i were to pratice in the zone a little i could solo in the crouds of mobs :-)

i just found out last nite that a lvl 57 necro can solo the phase spiders in dragon necropolis, lots o room for agro kiting i get about 1% every 2 kills a little slower but very safe sence spiders dont shadow step anymore plus u get the chance of a phase spider carapace dropping! also the zone is nearly always empty unless its raided but that hardly happens to frequently.

really i would solo there in a second if i knew i had a chance at phase spider carapace my onk could use one i got a lvl 52 iksar monk and i could use a new chest :-) ohh yeah and i like to get EXP too
