Servant of Bones Bug?

A generous Level 65 Necro was trying to make me the level 56 pet spell Servant of Bones. He followed the recipe as listed in the research books. He used the Warlock's Dark Book of Binding and tried combining, quill, parchment, words of apparition, words of revenant, and words of tenancy. It would not combine. He tried a few different combinations, but no luck. I filled out a bug report hoping that is the problem with the research attempt.
Has anyone else tried to make this spell? If so, did you get the same results? Need some feedback on this one to figure it out.

Well according to other sources, the words should be Apparition + Tenancy, though I don't know which ones require the quil and parchment.

so I guess I have a question and that is how do you know when it requires that?

okay found the answer to my own question. Anything lvl 49 or over which uses the Warlock's Book requires a Parchment and Quill. Also found in this source that the words for this spell are Apparition, revenant, and Tenancy. Any one know for sure so we can update our notes?

That is the correct combination for "Servant of Bones" cant figure why you would not get a successful combine. <_<

:lol: Ah! there is one thing. You have to put your "Warlock Book" in your inventory. It will not work if the book is still in the bank slot. That maybe the problem. B)

Yes, the book was not in the bank when the combine was done. Furthermore, we tried, just apparition and tenancy with parchment and quill, still no go. I'm thinking it's a bug.

Crud dude that is the combination I have listed as well... /GROWL. The recipie must be wrong.

Casters Realm has no comments on this combine one way or the other.

Umbrello can you post a question on CR, since you have a logon, asking them to confirm this combination? My email is dead so cannot even email them an error report. :angry:

I also found another lvl 56 with different combos listed.

Its for Sedulous Subversion

both say use Awareness and Exhilaration, parchment and quill
but one source says you also need Words of Sapience

anyone know which one of those is correct?

But in all seriousness try what she's saying. If I am not mistaken the higher level books have more slots than the lower level ones. If i AM mistaken, pls enlighten me =D

Folks this is where I go for spell info. They normaly test everything befor they list.
I have used combinations from here and had complete success. (Probably just screwed myself now!) :angry:

Eqtraders is a great place to get information. I do know that they have had some hiccups that last couple of months. And They only started keeping research information in the last 3 to 5 months. (since they did the new database thing). I'll compare my notes with them, I have found differences on some research information on the web, and have been trying to verify those differences, or test them myself. If I find problems I will let eqtraders know so they can update their site also.

took a print out of EQ traders and did a compare, they have a few lvl listing wrong, I'll double check in game and then send them a note. The word problems I found are the two that are outstanding on my list too, I'm hoping I only need to confirm which set is incorrect. Or I'll have to lvl to prove it myself ;)

EQtraders is nice, but its not orgainzed the way we do research.

In my stuff I have 2 lists, first list is words in order, so if you are shoping picking up or wondering if a word goes for a certain spell lvl, you have a quick reference, along with know drops (just started) by zone.

the next list is spells by lvl then name
which gives lvl of the spell, name of the spell and what words are needed to create that spell. I need to add a note to which ones requrie the quill and partchment. I also have added a trival lvl, and may had spells that are NPC drops with where and whom, but that will be after I finish the rest of this. I hope to get this finish in the next would of weeks. Though this isn't a spread sheet, my next step after that is to see if I can take the spread sheet and upgraded with the information we have all found together. I'm not sure if anyone finds this helpful but its helped me alot already.
