i have begun wondering after looking up zlandicar and such if there might be other old-school raid mobs soloable /duoable somewhere out there. any info would be apreciated.

Boy, I'm pretty sure almost all of the non level restricted oldschool raid mobs are soloable by us now. I know that western wastes is a playground for necros. Trak in Seb, the Skyfire dragon, Woushi, Gore, they all get solo'd / duo'd on my server. My wizard solo'd Phinny in KK, so I'm sure a Necro could do the same.

My necro Isn't high enuf to do that, but I'm sure we, as a class could.

I got the same idea last night with Western Wastes ;) . I didn't solo anything, instead I brought a Shammy along for the ride. I have never duoed a Dragon, let alone more than one in one day. It was a fun evening, I think you all should try it sometime, at least just once.

I remember reading about very well geared Druids soloing Trak, even seen a few screenshots of it. Haven't heard of any Necros soloing him though, although I am sure if Jeb could duo Zland with a Shammy, than I am sure he would be more of one to ask if the Necro class could do it. I imagine, with enough HP, and enough of a mana pool, it can be done though. =)

Trak soloable eh?

i think they need to up mob str... even reativly untwinked players eat old world mobs... it was untill PoP that things went really nuts.... thats the first expation with a higher damage then the delay

The ranger glade has a thread where a ranger soloed Trak. Pretty impressive job.

Key to Trak would be resisting/healing the AE Dot (both you and pet) and successful pet FDs/suspended pet back up. When you are banished, FD pet and sit to get summoned back.

All speculation on my part, as I have yet to do it. Trak is on my list of mobs to kill though - just for the fun of doing solo what, years ago, complete raids of us used to wipe to.

I'd like to see Fay or Klandy soloed by a necro. I hear Lodi can be done, but that seems like it would be a bitch.

imo klandi impossible to solo by anyone, maybe once the new expansion is out it might be possible by a lvl 70 but no way in hell a lvl 65 can do it, i'd be willing to say it's impossible for a duo at that, if anyone can prove me wrong go right ahead i'll be cheering ya on it's just something that my mind wouldn't be able to comprehend happening period by anyone solo or duo
