Gargs in PoN

What level can you start doing them? think i could do em at 57 til 58 then do PoS frogs? :)

People have mixed feeling about PoS frogs, but I never did good at the gargs, so I recommend frogs all the way =)

I stayed in PoS until level 62.

I did PoN gargs from 55 to 57. Then I went to PoS where the xp is awesome, but it's sooo boring. Vek is slower, but way more fun. 57 is a good level for Vek, too. For raw XP though frogs just plain rule. At 58 I get 2.5% regular and 7% AA per frog.

Ya stay at the frog dont camp my fav-spot k ;) I did frogs too maybe a tad to early now at 60 might be a tad better for me xp wise. Just know the Gargs real well. I dont have to say you will make more money at the gargoyles too. but AA xp is only 4.5 % a kill so a tad slower. My have to go try frogs now that I have funeral and such.

Lol well been trying gargs and man they are a tough nut to crack. Will be trying frogs today seeing they sound like the better choice, buuuut with all good camps you can bet ya last pp that it will be camped alot, but give it ago m8 theres more positive posts on them than the gargs.

As far as Gargs vs. Frogs, I choose the Garg camp hands down. Once you get Embrassing Darkness these mobs are cake. And althought I have heard people complain about the lack of loot, I have never been dissapointed with all the Diamonds, Blue Diamonds and other drops that usually total about 1k in an hour and a halfs worth of work.

The frogs on the other hand I do not care for. I went with a druid friend of mine (don't say it) so she could show me the ropes. We went to the "upper" forest area that was near the beehive thing. There were hardly any frogs to be found, you had to scour the forest to find them and then pull them all the way back to camp and I for one, dont care for that. I would rather sit on the hill in PoN and pick my gargs off the wall then chase some frogs around the woods hehe.

Of course I have not camped gargs in a month or so because I have found my NEW favorite spot: Yard trash in PoM(ischief). ALL single pulls, dont have to run too far to bring them back to camp, NO RESISTS WHATSOEVER (at 65 anyway, before that was another story) NO competition since im usually the only one in the zone and about 3% per kill. Yeah I know what your thinking--3%?!?!?! PFT!
But you have to take into account that these mobs are very easy, you can chain kill them, I usually go pull another while the first mob is under 20% and snare froze. I am FM when I start each pull so I can keep this up for as long as I want. The exp goes very fast here.

Only downside to PoM yard trash is the loot. Most mobs only have 5 or 6 gold. With the exception of 1 mob who drops a piece of armor and the occasional mushroom spores, the only loot is research components. You wont make any money here but you will make some quick and easy AA.

This was basically my experience with the gargoyles.

Started at 57. Little tough as they required a handful of DoTs to keep the pace up, so it wasn't really easy on the mana.

At 58, pyrocrucor made this spot much better, in general seemed it took less mana to do it in the same time so I could keep the flow going better. XP was still good being an iksar.

At 59, new pet did his job well, and sped the process up some considering 59 took a looooong time to get through.

At 60, Funeral Pyre made this spot cake. Leveled in maybe 12 hours? I was really out there for $ and parchments for friends since i had all my 61-62 spells, and it's almost never ever taken. 60 felt a lot faster than 59.

At 61, again with a significantly stronger pet, you could almost sleep through this camp... Which you might, it's pretty damn boring at this point :D


I did frogs at many points between all this. I didn't feel it was worth it until 60 when Pyre helped give me the damage output to kill these at a reasonable rate without gulping mana.

I suggest frogs at 60+. They're not open as often as I'd like, but you know how good spots go. If there's a 63+ druid there... They're probably charming the frogs.
