ok, so i have done the faction work, iksar necros view me amiably...i do the first three skullcaps, then the dark binder and occultist and things are great...so i do the turn in and the iksar keeps my stuff and i get no revanent skullcap..i petition in game and am simply told to do the quest over from step one..so i send email to eqtesting@soe.sony.com
i will keep you all posted on what i find out

my name is jami and my character is annihila elation, lvl 63 dark elf necromancer of innoruuk on drinal server.
I am currently working on the cabalis necromancer skullcap quests and need information. I have killed enough iksar bandits that my faction standing with Brood of Kotiz is amiable. I have done the skullcap numbers 1, 2 and 3, as well as the dark binder skullcap and the occultist skullcap with no problems at all. turn ins go without a hitch.
however, I recently camped the halfling swashbuckler in firiona vie, turned his stein in to grype, he gave me the foot of a candlestick. I then killed the sarnak revenants in lake of ill omen and got the stem of a candlestick, which I then turned in the Foot of Candlestick (Kor Sha), Occultist Skullcap, and Stem of Candlestick to Master Kyvix in West Cabalis and he took the items and told me "When you have shown more devotion to the Brood of Kotiz, we can discuss such things."
I have been told via in game petition that my items can not be reimbursed, and that I have to do the quest over from skullcap number one. However, I do not know if amiable is just not enough faction to do this? If I attempt to do the quest again, will my items be stolen again? I have been told this quest is not impossible for a dark elf to do if there is enough faction work done. Is this incorrect?
