Fearing Blood Ravens

Ok I read over and over about people being able to fear Blood ravens.

I have been hunting in PON for about a month. I have not been able to fear a blood raven. I get the famous message.... "Your spell did not take hold your target is too high a level."

I am using Invoke death. and I am lvl 55 hunting here since 53 and I have trided
at lvl 53, 54 and 55 with no luck. I am playing on Druzzil`Ro

Is it possible that Sony has made a change to this zone. also, I have noticed that
the static spawns rotate. Sometimes it is a blood raven or a trent or a spider and every once and awhile I see a banchee pop in one of the static spawn spots.

I am wondering if any one else has noticed this....

Fear should stick on a MOB even or blue to a 55th necro. If the MOB is yellow or red the MOB will be immune due to level cap. If the Raven is blue and you get that message then they made raven especially resistant to fear for some reason.

Actualy a mob has to be lvl 54 or lower for fear to stick I guess.

Most trash mobs in PoM conned white to me at 55 and were unfearable.

As to ravens in PoN. I experienced the same, only the 4 ravens northeast of zone-in near the rock are always fearable. The other ones not.

Ok I looked on the lvl 1 to 63 Guide. where they are pulling the blood raves that are on the otherside of the rock from "Zone in" (Graveyard). I have not tried those
At 54 blood raven's close to zone conned white and blue the one static I found by a tree close to zone always conned blue and I was not able to fear it either. I will try thier camp tonight. Hopfully I will be able to fear them.

I'm a level 53 necro. Recently I went to PoN to the 3 static tree spawns that are located near the graveyard. All the trees here are conned EVEN to me (white) . I cannot fear them. The only ones that I can fear are the ravens that are conned BLUE to me. I use the spell invoke death to fear. It is strange, maybe the treants are just not fearable =/.

Use the level 34 spell Invoke Fear and camp the ravens according to this link:

This is what I have done, and it worked flawlessly for me. I have had no luck fearing the trees, all of them seem immune to me. Aggro kiting them is an option if you need extra spawns to pull.

Start working on your aggro kiting techniques -- the day and era of your ability to fear kite is coming quickly to a close.

As already mentioned, no mob 55+ can be feared. 30% of Tier 1 mobs and 100% of all Tier 2+ mobs are going to be unfearable.

At 55 try to get into a kite group at Plane of Valor OC camp and you won't look back to those blood ravens.

My crap (http://www.magelo.com/eq_view_profile.html?num=788902)I have been argo Kiting since lvl 52, found it easier and safer being able to controll the path of the Mob. I went to the Raven camp showen on the Map, and yes you can fear them. I only found 2 of the four Static Blood raven. Well I killed the two and went back to my normal spot to argo kite :) That is messed up there are four blood raven in the zone you can fear kite and the rest you can not. From what I can see there is no difference in level between the static and the wanders in the zone. Oh well.

Druids charm kill with those ravens, so some druid may have had the missing spawn under his control in some other part of the zone.
