Everytime I look at the new aa's and spell lists for us, I get further disappointed. We used to be a class designed by/for (and known for) versatile power..now we're a class defined by sustained dps. The lack of ingenuity by SOE is disturbing.

What about a mass summon corpse aa, like a summon raid that would require consent, or a pet shared health aa (like mages get). Maybe a one time massive mana xfer to a single person or group (that'd atleast allow us to go afk and play an on-line game that's still entertaining, and not have people whine). A mind wrack aa that works on mobs with or w/o mana, that maybe gives everyone in your group 1k mana over 4-8 ticks, hell make it mgb'able...

Any type of utility, or unique ability would of been nice..we're an intelligence archetype community, our abilities and skills should E X P A N D as we level, not diminish as they are now. I'm still waiting for the day where I can auto-cast/attack, set a hotkey that repeats itself and go afk (kinda like warriors tanking Xegony and VT mobs used to do)because we only do like 1 friggen thing even remotely well. I mean goddamn, what ever happened to a necromancer helping with crowd control, or actually being able to support a tight heal cycle by himself. We use a mana xfer spell designed for 4k mana pools, with tribute and raid aa, I have 3 clerics in my guild that break 9k mana (2 by a substantial margin)...Dubbya Tee Eff (wtf)is SoE thinking?

No class needs more to exp well, SoE needs to design class defining spells and AA
in a raid-centric frame of mind. That's where 90% of the necromancers I know spend the large majority of their time. Any friggen monkey can get 1-4 aa's an hour kiting, and we damn sure don't need eternal breath to do it /finger SoE.

Thanks for the insult...err AA's.

I disagree with that. I'd say rather group-centric frame of mind, which would then more than likely encompass the raid attitude frame of mind. Theres alot of Necro's out there who don't participate in raids on a frequent basis, but do enjoy a good group.
Our group heal is grossly outdated with PoP/GoD mobs spanking asses for incredible amounts. Our Grp mana tap is a pathetic joke, one for the amount vs cost and two for the number of available mobs we can actually tap.
Some of our current aa's need to be updated/replaced, but thats for another day I guess.
On the whole I agree with Jebasiz. SOE need to get their fingers out of their asse........hmm, ears and start listening.

Grouping is easy though...so is soloing, we're equipped for that imo. If you don't raid hard content, the short-comings in our class (that weren't there when velious was high end content) may not be readily apparent. I've never joined a group and been asked to stand there and dot or nuke. It's always, pulling, CC/root-rotting(or soloing adds) mana tapping, group healing etc etc... I don't think necromancers have a short-fall in that environment. We're fine in ldon and Kod'taz, raid equipped characters (and it can be high-end luclin, not even pop or gates) don't need more mana while grouping, they are(and should be) self-sufficient.

It's raids, where everything is casting, and ae'ing..but has no mana to rack..where the clerics get 1 rounded, rezzed and want mana..and it takes 2 casts to give them 1% mana. It's just not efficient anymore in the high end to do what we had been doing for years, and what we used to do quite well. I don't mind not having even a decent nuke for trash clearing, that's mindless and not my thing..I do mind being equipped like I'm level 57, 3 years ago..to do the same job today. I do mind not being able to mez undead like a chanter and bard can, I do mind having a charm undead cap 2 levels below my own...etc etc etc. I also hate the lack of a screaming terror upgrade.

I was 1/2 expecting to see a group Summon Corpse AA. It's not just a helpful suggestion its simply long overdue.
