Marsinger quests...

Anyone do them? Am just wondering if they are worth the time I am going to spend in Hate to do the quest.

This quest will take you a LONG time. Mage friend of mine has camped hate for over a month. The final item is a nice ranged item. He has the 2nd gem, and I think all the turn in stuff for 4th, but is missing the item needed for 3rd. The names aren't common spawns apparently, and the drops are rare.

I would not recommend this quest if you don't want to camp hate every nite for quite a few weeks.

Note that some people seem to like the 3rd gem more than the 4th due to the FT, but I believe that the final gem is regen and spell haste.

I got gem 2 so far...

Will take a long time as as been said, need INT nameds for the 3rd drop and they dont seem to like to come out to play.

The vampire dust drops like a fighter pilot the crests all seem uncommon-rare and the hatebone bones took me about 3 weeks (i was probably unlucky!)

IMO this is one of the better range items that is 1 group acheivable so is well worth investing some time in

Ok, the names are all static spawns though, and we seemed to get 2-8 a night when we were there camping our stones. And the upside to this is there is some extremely nice bazaar trash to sell, including a nice FT tunic for druid monks and beasties that nicely funded my supply of earthweave gear till I got better...then the earthweave funded my 100k horse. The AA doesnt suck either. Unless you are used to elemental AA, and then all other AA sucks.

Me too! My hatebone drakebones took a good 60 drakes. I've stopped at 2nd stone (which I dont even use since I have a ceramic gavel in that spot.) I'll prolly go back someday, but PoH gets old after a month.
