Was in veksar the other night and a Cleric and his rogue were calling ALL the camps in the zone. What they were doing was invising and running to each camp and only killing the PH / Named. Well, I was there for experience and no two people are going to hold the whole zone hostage and they loot whore.

I went to the chef camp and started pulling the mobs there. When I got up to the chef / ph spot, they came running out as they had just killed the PH. I told them to back off that now I had the camp and they would have to do their loot whoring somewhere else. This made the cleric angry and said he would just ks the mob from me. Bad mistake. :-)

Anyhow, I killed the entire kitchen zone and some dogs from below and then waited on the chef to spawn. The cleric and the rogue were back by this time and what do you know but the named did indeed spawn. I promptly did a lifeburn and dotted the dog out of him. Needless to say they could not even come close to ksing me. Which really got the cleric mad.

I told him it was bad manners to call camps when in reality they were not camping anything but killing only the named at each camp. I told him that if he wanted to keep trying to take the named spawn spot in my camp I would continue to take him from them.

He gave me such a rash of crap I told him it was time for him to die.. lol. Well.. All I can tell you is don't mess with a necro in an undead zone that he runs in all the time. I told him to meet me for a duel behind the shops near the highborns.. (you know where this is going). I let him buff up and get ready to duel "me". haha.. I then looked at him and told him to get ready to die.. Rather than sending him a duel like he thought I looked at him and cast a small dot on a highborn commander I had targeted earlier before facing him. lol.. Well.. the highborn got right up to me.. and you guessed it.. I FD.

He had one angry nasty on his hands and had all the spells prepared for a duel and not an undead nasty. That highborn commander kicked his butt badly.. haha.. While some might think this was "unsporting" I consider it tactic.. I didn't care to even be bothered by the gnat of a cleric who had very bad manners. I just let a mob do my dirty work for me.

Thing is... don't go pissing off the necro.

Lol i have a ton of good stories like this. a Whole grp tried KS me at Tumia camp in natimbi after I had been there for 3 hours clearing the entire thing plus dogs. I run over to sell some the trash they drop to the magus because slots were getting full when I get back camp is still down. I sit down wait for pop and cast snare and see arrow hit mob. I think well ok my snare lands right after arrow so of course I get the mob ranger sends me tell saying to back out of his camp. I told him I had been there for 3 hours not giving it up yet I would send him tell when I was done. I get this gem back- We are a grp of 50 we will just KS you then till you leave". Boy if there ever was the wrong thing to say to a 65 necro. Basicaly spent the next 2 clearings with a grp helping me out on DPS nice to have them pl me and such sent them a tell thanking them for the exp and they went else where=).

Moral of the story better know who you are F'ing with =).

Necros rock. I was 49 I was in Rath Mountians hunting HG's for cash. When a 65 Druid started KS me. Obvously at 49 I do not stand a chance Out DPSing a 65 Druid. We went back and forth with tells, He was being an Ass. I saw that he was hitting them with a High lvl DD taking them to a little under half life and then hitting them agian when they got close to him. No snaring rooting. So I timed his cast and evey time he started to cast his big DD My Invoke Fear hit the HG and put it out of range before his spell hit, then I laughed as he ran after them. Did this 4 times and he said some crap and zoned and I was hunting my HG's again.

Funniest one I had was a 56 warrior (1 level below killable) who thought he could out dps a 65 necro with spectre pet... I mean a 56 warrior would struggle to outdps the pet without me lol.

I told him he was wasting his time and to hunt the light blue mobs as he had a chance.. he came back with a /d...

now... theres one golden rule I have always lived by on a pvp server and thats DONT duel someone whoe cons red.

I accepted and rooted him. Slapped horror on.. let him cast 4 pumices on himself (removing all his buffs) then told him that horror is curse based ) to be fair he survived that.. so i wandered into melee range "accidentaly" and tap tanked him for the rest lol he didnt even break my rune.

Hopefully that warrior is no longer with us.. the gene pool dont need stupidity like that!

Not sure I would call what I did as training; more like summoning a pet to assist me. lol!

I think of trains more in running through a zone pulling multiple mobs and then running by someone close enough to have them derail on them. I would only do that if I had to kill a whole group of people. hahaha . I look at it this way, he deserved it and to pull a nasty mob and then fd is just tactic. The mob doesn't have to play by fair rules like we do. Stop nerfing my dd's and fear and then I will talk about more equal ground. Truth is we were nerfed because we were smoking everyone in duels so SOE had to make them feel better about their class. It might seem ugly to some, but that is mainly because THEY can't do it.

I had a necro try to train my cleric/monk in the shop once after having been put in basically the same situation as you. I had logged into my usual spot above the shop, cleared a little, and killed "her" shopkeeper (unknowlingly) which had the belt, only to have this little whore roll up out of nowhere and start crying foul. AFAIK or care if a mob isn't being actively camped it belongs to whomever is actually there to engage it. So she bitched me out to which I gave her a hardy "tough shit," after failing at diplomacy. Anyway, like 30 minutes later I get a huge train of golems and all the shop mobs. I hit my IVU AA and ran to the zone out only to gate right back to my spot in the shop where my monk was FD. Anyway, she was in the bath area when my monk brought her everythign from the shop, all the highborns, all the crusader area, all the kitchen, the hand area, and the golems. She didn't get her FD off, needless to say.

The best part was, I don't think she had even noticed my monk the whole time she was bitching and training me because I got a tell on my cleric asking me to rez her because some idiot trained her. hehe. Yes, I rezzed her because being a dick was never my goal. (Of course only after having defiled her corpse in every possible way- muwhohaah moowhohahahHAHAHAHA!! */end Dr. Evil laugh* Anywho... I play a necro now for obvious reasons)

Actually thats happened to me in veksar before too....Except was a BL not a cleric, so i tell him to meet me at that actual same spot you were, and somehow this guy has really really low MR, so i roooted him (i inspected him before fight so i knew beforehand) and so then i IVU'd and ran into the church thing and got about 5 guys and jsut FDed on him, then gated.
