66+ exp

I've done vxed and Kod'taz, pofire, wos, mpg...I'm pretty sure I'll be 70 today, but what I wanna know is..for someone with limited access to zones (pre-oow zones) where's the best exp at? I have friends who play casually, and despite my best efforts they haven't killed rondo(raids have been full) and they have neglected the sewers, so no KT access...where do I hunt with them, that won't waste all of our time?

I am still looking for a spot to kill in right now myself since I am not kt flagged. I went into vxed to solo and killed on mob and actually saw my exp bar move so it may not be too bad of a place to go. I would have stuck around longer to see if it would keep moving every kill, but I had an unfortunate incident while responding to a tell that magically made me end up in pok. Other than that, unless he is elemental flagged I am not sure if there are any good zones to go to. I think sol ro is not quite as bad as the other planes from what I heard, but it is still not as good as kt or elementals. I have yet to get a group or solo spot in elementals so I cannot personally confirm this, but have head numerous people stating that sol ro is not totally horrible.

I was in a hard pull Vxed XP group Friday night Jeb. Got about 35% of 66 in 4 hours.. Tank was level 70 already and the rest of the group was 67-68 ish and all Time geared. Pulls were non-stop and the XP was moving well.

This seems to be the method of choice for the ubers on Quellious... KT is over crowded and while XP per kill may be lower than in KT you have a pretty much endless supply of mobs to kill and no competition.

OOW instanced zone i was in yesterday my xp bar moved infrequently... like 1% every 5 or 6 kills at 66

Plane of Hate Tier 4 about 1% xp every 6-7 kills apparently (not tried yet) but u can chain pull pretty well there...

did Walls of Slaughter last night... got 25ish% of 67 maybe 4 hours. Group was all 66-67 & none of the group was elementally geared. Was 2 guildies with gear for their classes comprable to mine, a pally from another guild with gear comprable to ours and a chanter and ranger probably in mostly bazaar gear.

Non-named hit for less than KT mobs so the group was pretty laid back, but still pulling hard. Named were level 70 pretty much..plentiful and 1 groupable tho at least 1 has an AE mana drain that wiped us the first time.. mostly because we'd been so casual the rest of the evening. Cleric ducked behind a rock and the second try was like clockwork.

Ended the evening with the group having gotten: a lesser muramite rune, a muramite rune, Silken Turban of Serfdom (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=70218), Infernal Ring of Regrowth (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=70233), Blue Flame Necklace (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=70235), Scarred Browband (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=70201) and Tainted Heartstone (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=70201)

All in all a pretty satisfying evening. Even tho I lost on everything but the consolation prize of the Scarred Browband.

Oh.. and Mal.. were you in the instance off of Dranik's Scar or the one off of the Ruined City of Dranik?

The ones on the caves off the port in zone (Draniks Hollow i think it was called) was planning on exploring but the spot got called.. ill go back tonight and check out more zones...

I *think* the named feran...some bookkeeper is the one with the aoe mana drain.
In wos a couple named to look out for are...

Dragrorn Champion-I toyed with this enough in beta to stay away from it, he's very fast, has a wide agro range, hits for 2500ish, rampages...has a poison(?) based ae that landed consistently on 525 resists. In a nutshell, he's another_assbeater_01 and I recommend people who aren't with either a GOOD 2 groups or more stay away from him. He tends to insta-gib lost people on the north side of WoS fairly regularly, so if your bored and love watching other people's misery, get a good distance away and some popcorn.

Discordant Warfiend-Another 2k hitter, with a mild-severe rampage, a 1kish ae that lands on high 300s/low 400s resists. He's easier then the Dragrorn champion..and he is single groupable, but it requires a good tank and rampage tank to do it. Each time we killed him, my friend/guildmate paladin was tanking..and we had a cleric and druid healing. The rampage tank varried, I did it once but it sucked and was very painfull.

The rest, that I've seen (except cipheron and hulcror) seem pretty easy...then again, I rarely have a tracker.
