This would be pretty nice.
A little off topic - atm I use my pet to tell me if my DE Hide ability has worked (extended afk etc) If there are no mobs about to /con the only way I can tell if I am hidden is if my pet dies. Is there another way to check if I am hidden?

That doesnt work. You will always see yourself disappear, but weather or not your hidden is another matter.
The text always reads something like "You begin to hide" But unlike rogue hide you dont get a success/fail message.

to check your hide, type /target yournamehere after you click it. If you target yourself, your hide failed. If it is successful, you will get the messade "I don't see anyone by that name around here". Much more mana efficient than watchin your pet go bye bye. Also, keep a mob targeted that you are anything but indifferent to. Con it after you click hide, if it changes to indifferent, your hide was successful, if it does not change, your hide failed.

omg this will make pet pulling SO much easier! no more juggling suspend and running back and forth until you are close enough for the pet to aquire aggro! we can just sit next to the mob, order the pet to attack, and tag him along anywhere throughout the zone (as long as the pet lives of course).

That basicaly makes suspend minion unneccesary cept for in cases where you need a pet to pull mob and die then bust out real pet which is like what farming fungi ?

Very true, Rikam, that's the main reason I got Suspend Minion 2, the ease of travel. I personally wouldn't mind seeing them refund the AA cost if they do implement this, though I would probably still buy it again anyway.

/shrug suspend will still be useful, and it's a nice change if they implement it.

not really, like they were saying on the other channel, short of remaking the pet suspend is the only wya to reset enrage. Also for grinding groups this means you can have 2 pets out permanently with one stowed away in case you need to run away, and I haven't done really any research but it seems suspend minion delays the duration on buffs. Its still useful, but just lesser priority.

it was directed at the fact that pet suspension isn't completely worthless
It means that you can summon 1 pet, suspend it, and summon another during the buffing period (or when you start out in PoK or w/e) so if the first dies you have another one stowed away if you have to be mana consious. Also if you time things right you could have the second pet out right as the firs tone dies (or you send it away), to save the team while they run for their lives or something.

I was woundering would that included DE Hide ability. I wounder if SOE relize that it would make pet classes way more powerfull. Man If i could remain invis let pet tank. And just remake another pet send it in invis and repeat and rinse. WOW I could take any mob.

I hope they refund Suspended Minion AA...only reason I got it was so that I could go invisible and not have to recast my pet.

Doesn't make the pet classes much more powerful at all. You do currently have the ability to cast a pet, FD then send your pet on a mob. This is not usually an effective way to kill mobs as every pet costs a huge amount of mana (plus a component) to create. In the time it takes you to create a pet the mob will be regening hp.

Yes, suspended pets have their buff timers suspended. I had a mage friend suspend pet then go afk for work so his pet would keep all his buffs. 10 hours later, all buffs still intact when pet pulled out.
If this goes live...meh. Also, wondering if giving pet commands, or at least attack command, will break our invis.
Also, on the invis/chain pet, when you go invis and send pet to attack, mob will probably be able to see you. Non-see invis mobs can see invis people on their hate list, last time I checked. Has been a while ago though. I never remain on anythings hate list.

I kinda hope it does. I three box, and box two is usually my Enchanter and this would allow me to get that Dire Charmed Wurlon puppy to the Hero Shrines easier for grind nights.. and the likes.
You can always dispell the charmed pet.. with a 4 slot.. which is good, clears haste, damage shield, virtue et all at the same time.

It would be interesting to see if it does affect breaking the charm on pets. If it did: 1) Bards would be bitching up a storm as that screws their swarm kiting 2) Goblin Gazuchi Ring & Boots of the Mosquito would drop to reasonable prices in the bazaar. :P

Lol on my shm back in the day I remember getting the goblin ring for free. Just was wlaking around LoIO asking if any seen the mob who drops and some kind says yeah I have one want it? Told him sure used it for my quest of patience for epic worked like a charm lol.
But, if it does work on charmed/DC mobs that will rock for getting DC pets around .
