New Spell effects

yep thats right I succumbed to the temptation and made another poll.

So post your favorite spell/effect(s)

mine are Aystole and Dark Soul so far.

Aystole looks like the pulsing heart trap effect in LDoN but way better and 10x bigger it has black vapor mixed in with spiders crawling in it.. and boy everyone in my group last night was awed by it.. I cast it on a giant in DL and everyone in the mele range disappeared in the effect, could not even see the giant. it friggin rocked...

and I thought Dark Soul was kewl as it was but they improved on it and made the effect 4x larger..

I tried a few others and they were good.

oh and I like the look of the new effect on my life tap it is much better, pet still uses the old graphic tap tho, which is ok cause I can definatly tell when he tap vs when I do.

I can't vote yet because I wasn't able to log in last night until it was time for me to go to bed.. so I stuck my char in the bazaar to make some $$.. when I got up I was logged out. I checked and 90% of the servers (including mine) were locked. Hopefully this will get or already has been resolved quickly. I won't know til I get home this evening :rolleyes:

Try out Shackel of Bone.. it got a cool effect actually looks like chained wrapping around the mob.. There is one thing I have found to be pretty annoying though.
I was grouped with a bard who was jungling songs and one of them was Cantina of replenishment(hp and mana regen, Rocks for necros) but everytime he started playing the song it made this spell noise(the noise on most of the summon item spell). and with the bard jungling songs it was making this noise like every 5 seconds.. was very annoying!

/agree, Shackle of Bone is pretty cool.. so is Hungry Earth. It looks like huge monstrous vines come up and grab the mob. The pet buffs are also quite cool.

I am only lvl 15 but the pet buff spell is awsome, my lil rocker he's so B)

I would have to agree, Asystole is pretty cool. I haven't played much since the new spell effects took place but, so far I like the pet buff Spell: Augment Death. Alot better than what it used to be. ;)

Shackle and neurotoxin are my favorites so far. They did a good job from what ive seen so far.

Personally a few of the poison DD/Dots are the best. I love casting on things and watching them get the drip, lol.

So far my favs have got to be Shackle of bone (with all the crazy chains) Shadow compact, and heat blood. the last two just look cool as hell

Only lvl 28, but my favorites so far are Shock of Poison and Heart Flutter. Shock of Poison is simply wonderful with the racking claws and Hear Flutter is great simply because of the sheer size of the effect, and it captures the idea of the spell so well. Oh, and I've always loved the animation our pet does with out buffs for it. All I can think of is Highlander and McCloud killing another immortal.

I think the effects are awesome but when I'm grouped with one or more, the main melee doesn't like the heart flutter/fear spell. I guess it's hard for him to chase a mob he when he can't see through the smoke.. lol. Too bad for him :)

I love the new spell graphics, ONLY PROBLEM IS when you are playing 2 accounts it slows down your computer hardcore, and only other problem is when I'm casting some spells, the graphics are so intense that it blinds you so you can see the other person.

Thats two downfalls, but for visual, they ROCK!

"Pet Happy Dance" Watching a Pet do a dance is hilarious and I always call it out as people in group find it funny too. :D
