Imagine this scenario, No ones posting new content on this board. 4 days running, no new content. I think that it due to it has become Azrioth's pirate board, as well as Kill homicide and the unfit mother of three children, Naji.

five mornings i checked this board, nothing significant posted in the General forums, Hmmm. 2650 members registered, and Umbrello, the founder is calling for more.

Out of 2650 members, it boils down to 3 members shang'hai'ing the board; Is this right?

I tried blowing it out of the water, but these people truly dug in; unfortuneatly.

The way I see it, the Board is dead, 2650 that allow 3 to rule is just wrong. I even made myself the fall guy, anyone else standing up?

Moderaters, I would check your thoughts; When 3 people rule 2,650 possible posters, What is better for the boards?

Or is this the new Pirate board?

I havent really noticed any trends on who "runs" the boards or whatever. But no one "runs" the board but Umbrello. And there is a nifty little button called report that tends to work ya know. All youve managed to do is write a check I dont think your ass can cash.

So do us all a big favor and try using that grey matter of your before you post something insanely stupid. Oh and the board was down. Its could router disconnection. Where it wasnt the site itself. But the router to which comes to this site. That means most likely half if not the majority of people live on the half of the US or world that had no router access.

lol, like most class boards a majority of the users come here to look at the posted information and/or to ask a question or two. I'm sure most people actually make use of the 'search' function on the site.

There are roughly 1150 members who have not posted at all. They simply like to read over the info and do not care to post on an internet forum. There are hundreds more members with 1-5 posts who've posted most likely to ask question about their gear, or to say hi and whatnot. To think that people are not posting because Azrioth is talking pirate lingo is absurd. Do not be such a jackass.

Forums are always going to be lopsided with people who post vs people who do not post. Get over it.

Perhaps this is true, but Whispers you should realize that young people are supposed to be exuberant and have fun. I would suggest that all of us should be excited about life, especially when you are participating in something that ostensibly you enjoy. By choosing to involve yourself in a medium that is predominantly populated by younger adults, I would think that you would be expecting/willing to tolerate such behavior.

On a deeper level, I must admit having a morbid curiosity about how a few young men having harmless fun could rancor you so. It seems obvious to me that your problem goes well beyond "Pirate talk". Do you realizw how assinine it is to expect erudite dissertations when you are on a board for a video game?

Ok I have to ask the question. What is it that infuriates you about Az, Whispers? It seems that this board is becoming your little personal vendetta page. As I understand it you are a little older and more "wise" than Az and some of the others but seriosly man, what is the problem? Do you not get it? No one cares but you. It's why they all rip into you when you spout off. Have some fun and lighten up before you go and do some real harm to yourself. All this ego battering can't be doing your self esteem any good and from what I am reading its not in a good place as is. Go get some fresh air, get out take a break from the boards for a bit and go spend some time with family or something.

This post for what it is, is hatemongering and you need to find a better hobby. If I was stuck in you position at your age doing this I would be bloody ashamed, and I think if you look in the mirror and are honest with yourself you will be too.

When I was a junior in highschool my psychology teacher told me I was "poison to classroom participation." When I asked her why she thought a 5'8" 170lb 16 year old was "poison" she told me, I intimidated people into their silence...which my response was..."Fuck You" (of course...ya, I started early). There were 3 football linemen in that class... I seriously doubt the guys that outweighed me by 100lbs worried a whole lot about what I thought of them(she threw me out of her class, and was fired at the end of the year, and no..I didn't say anything, and I got a B+ in the other psychology class heh...)

The internet is kinda different though...you don't know who your talking to, what state of mind people are in when your talking to them, or how they're going to react. It's also an interesting little occurence that cliques seem to form with people who have never and will never meet eachother.

The whole...people not posting thing, is just like classroom participation, noone and I mean NOONE is gonna stop people from saying what they want to say. If you accuse someone of being the reason why people don't post/participate, 9 times out of 10..your gonna get a big Fuck You.

As far as who posts and who doesn't...That's all upto the people who visit, this board is supposed to be a derivation of the other board, where it's more civil, and people are like...friendly to each other. Posts like this counteract alot of that, and imo need to stop.

No personally directed attacks have a place in necrotalk take that shit somewhere else.

If you want people to post more..ask questions, create polls, maybe write a guide and ask for feedback on it. Add something to the community, don't detract from it, with slanderous comments. A tirade about lack of involvement doesn't inspire people to post either, although it may make people not come back at all(the best outcome of a tirade just makes the author of it look "less then intelligent" (something that's been worded differently in previous posts.

If this is all to complicated for anyone to understand...simply put:

Be nice(or atleast, be funny)..or
