Discord Server

Hey, i was just wondering what any of you thought of the discord server.... i tried it out and here were my experiences...

1. get to 6
2. get pked by a group of 6s
3. get to 7
5. get pked by a group of 6s
6. get to 6
5. get pked by a group of 6s

yeah so i dont think im gonna go back its just too dumb hehe... i coulda taken any of those 6s but they just stick together....

however, if you have a group of friends that could all team up then this could be a good server for you... but if you dont, its prolly not worth it...

post your experiences or opinions here if you want..

imo discord server fucking owns, i'm having a blast playing there during freetime. it does help a shitload if you bring a group of friends with you tho so you don't have to worry about people like me(and my friends) pk'ing you when we see you sitting around all alone. but there is nothing like the rush of chasing an innocent person or 2 around with our ogre death squadron...........there is NO escape!

You know I tried something like that on RZ server, never made it past level 4. I kept getting trained by some twink 10th level who had nothing better to do than torture Noobs. No fun. I just like the idea of being able to PK someone that desperately deserves it (i.e. Member in group is a complete moron). I've had a few instances on the "blue servers" where I wish I could sacrifice the player to my Diety, who knows alot about eternal torment and how to dish it out... LoL

alright xar lets try and get some peeps together then we can decide what races and classes we are gonna be... since there is no pop, it would probably be best if we were all the same race, or same starting city rather...

if anyone else is in please post cuz we wanna get this thing going asap heh

I think that calablis has a low kill rate there since it is out of the way. If we hang out there for awhile we can go kill humans or elfs somwhere else.

okies everyone has to take a vote on a starting town i guess so we can get that underway...

i vote for neriak because it has dark elf and trolls so we can have good casters and mages? i think its the best one, but cite your opinions...

also i would prefer to be a necro...

so what towns or classes are you guys up for... gulp maybe if you guys have AIM post it here cuz this is gonna take a while on the message board lol

Neriak would be good. I can play a warr, necro, mage, cleric, and wizard decent enough to help out alot. I prefer warr or necro. My aim is Pikkon018 and my YIM is kaja_rang. I have yim on more then aim.

Well, its worth trying anyway. When this happens I will be a troll shadow knight, harm touch should be good in pk. Plus, I have a 47 sk iksar and they arn't to different from troll.

What are the rules on this server? Havent heard about it at all.

you may loot all items off the player you kill.
if you die, you delevel back to level 1.
You gain so many points for each conning lvl that you kill
You lose so many points for each of your deaths.
Highest level is 50.
Only have till Jan something.
Winner will have thier char moved to any server of thier choice.

if this is against your Time schedule i dont know what to tell you... i had to make a specific time otherwise we would just keep going on...

i am going to make a DE necro and ill try to make some money on there tonight for our spells... cuz im just such a nice guy ;)

i made a char a min ago his name is Zumak a sk troll i will try to get on a the time u said i will lvl him tonight and get money the server is really crazy i was there uc can kill pc till lvl 6 and geting money and stuff is really hard because there is so many people there there were 93 people in the DE city newbie area and that was really scary :blink:

when you start you can get money by following these steps:

be born and give your scroll to guild master
get robe or tunic
sell tunic or robe to nearest vendor
attack nearest npc
loot your body
rinse and repeat

its like 8 silver everytime and you can also get bags, food, drink, and bandages via this method... then what you do after you get some is this

buy rat wiskers from merchants (they are pretty uncommon from the rodents) for like 2 or 3 silver (cant remember)
hand them in 4 at a time to exterminators (gives you 1 gold and change and exp)

then not sure any other ways but this worked to get a few pp for me before i was pked hehe

I would like to try a PvP srever but that server is way to crazy who ever made that server was out of his mind I really hated how u when to lvl-1 everytime u died that server my have bin fun if it were not for the lvl 1 thing! :(

Well, its just a hardcore server, the whole point is when u die ur dead. Personally I would hate to be on that server for more then 1 day. I hated that stupid bard who got me killed.

yeah that realley sucked if alot of the servers would like that i would probaly stop playing eq and do another MMPOG because that is just a stupid server but that is just what i think :huh:

i think it would be kindof cool to have a PVP server that they would restart every couple of months tho... maybe they could have you lose something more when you die but not everything... maybe you could keep your exp but they get to loot all your items so you jsut start out with the newbie gear but you are your level... i dunno... im still alive on discord tho hehe i just think that its fun, but sucks when you die lol
