Q: How do i stop my pet from drawing agro?
A: Turn pet taunt off. Either by pressing the taunt button on your pet UI or typing /pet taunt off in console. Yo uwill then get a message saying pet no longer taunting. Should reduce pet agro alot.

Cycling attacks - backing off your pet and reengaging, ie. reducing it's dps and number of swings
Pet position - move the pet so that a tank is in range of the mob if the tank gains agro automatically (ie. the mob is KoS or has social agro)
Pet FD AA - a successful pet FD (75% at level 3) will reduce pet agro in the same manner as a necro's FD reduces a necro's agro
Suspend Minion AA - suspending a pet that is FD guarantee's that all agro the pet has is cleared
