Hi, just recently joined, and, before I continue, I must say I really love the site and the helpful information I've found so far. Kudos to whoever runs it!

I just recently reached lvl 24 and am very sad to see the next pet is research only. I found someone kind of enough to sell me Words of Allure and Words of Possession for 3 plat, but I have yet to find Words of Detachment anywhere, including the Bazaar. Please don't say to drop a few hundred plat somewhere, because this would happen to be my first character as well. Does anyone have a spare one to give to a poor necro, gaining an ally eternally on the Mithaniel Marr server? Or perhaps just a good idea where to hunt for it. I heard a rumor that the Skulking Brutes near the Dalnir tunnels in the Warsliks Wood drop it all the time, but I have yet to confirm it.

Okay for anyone trying to find a lvl 24 to 34 pet spell, go to the SK guild, If you want lvl 39 and 44 pet spells they sell them in OT on the SK vendor. The only pet that I know so far you HAVE to make is lvl 49. If you are on Quel, I have snagged some words of Allure and am holding for necros for FREE!!! I don't have many, but there is no way I'm going to make a necro pay 3000pp in the bazaar for a lvl 24 pet they can buy at the sk guild. Detachment I've found in DL, but once again its not easy for a lvl 24 to run to DL and get the words. I bought my lvl 24 and 29 pet from the SK guild because I couldn't find the words. But I do know I have a few, and will do the combine for free on my server.

I hope this helps. When I started doing research on pet spells I gave the successful spells away or sold to vendors for other necros to find. I'm holding on to most of them now, some go on sell for the guild trader when my bank over flows.

If you are looking for the lvl 24 pet spell, a guildie confirmed that it is sold at the Oggok SK guild. :D

I bought the level 29 pet in PoK, in the SK Library.

Many people have told me that they've seen Haunting Corpse on SK vendors all over the place, but I have yet to find it. My necro is an Iksar, so my choices are limited, but I have an Ogre SK, and I didn't see it. I've also tried the PoK SK vendors, several times, to no avail. Perhaps I'm blind or something, or that was before they made some changes to the game.

I had a guildie confirm that Haunting Corpse (the lvl 24 necro pet spell) is sold in Oggok. He was a gnome necro, and was not KoS. He bought the spell only last week.

Unless someone sold it to the vendor, it should be there.

I was just there with both my Ogre and Iksar, and neither found it. Well, my Iksar never found it because he got about 5000 damage froum the SK GMs deciding they didn't like his face (I went invis till I got to the guild room.). Also, I don't think SKs get Haunting Corpse, so why would they have it? I'm willing to bet that someone sold it to the vendors.

I can confirm that the 24th level pet spell "Haunting Corpse" is a research only spell.
I tried the Oggok SK spell vendors immediately after the Dec. 23rd patch and it wasn't there. I then checked PoK SK vendors as well as the Iksar Necro guild.
I have tried all the spell merchants for SK's & Necro's in every city that has them.
Anyone who has found this spell on a vendor must have gotten lucky.

I'll double check this, my Ikky got most of his lower lvl pet spell from the SK spell vendors in the PoK libaray. I did have to hunt them down wasn't a quick look and oh here they are. but I'll take another look and get the names of the vendors I can find them on.

I have to inform my dark brothers and sisters of the lower levels that the two miners in the basement of High Keep are freakin' amazing when it comes to words. In one night, I was able to get my 24 pet and my 24 pet buff, and I probably would have gotten Harmshield too, but I had to log (All nighters really tire a guy out.). I don't know about the other servers, but Minthaniel Marr necros will have no problem at the lower levels because of those miners. Thanks for the all the help guys.

Well, I looked and couldn't find them this past weekend, which is really strange cause how are the SK going to get it? I wonder if its a bug? anyone reported this, because I know you use to, should be a bug an SK reports...

Haunting Corpse is a research only spell. The reason the Ogre SK vendors had the spell was b/c someone sold them the spell.

Yes, this spell is research only. Can not be located because you cannot buy it from a vendor unless it is sold to that vendor from a previous player.

L24 Necro Pet spell "Haunting Corpse" Is in the Bazaar for over 2kpp for a reason.
