Hello fellow necros,
I recently had to quit EQ, quite a sad day. I had to move and all I have here is, dial up..yes...dail up. And I was wondering, would I still be able to play and not beat the sh** outta my comp with my connection? And another bad thing, my mom (I'm only 16) deleted my account, and its been about 3 months, and now I'll have to start over again. If anyone can help me out if I get back to EQ please send me an email whereswaldo13666@yahoo.com anything will be appreciated. Thanks for your time, happy hunting.

Dialup is totally doable. I played that way the first 18 months, and my friend still does (two boxing on two phone lines). You will want to turn on skins you don't need.. that will reduce your zoning time.
Deleted accounts may still be restored. I personally know people that have rerolled.. leveled to 65.. not liked it.. and had their previous character restored from backup (FV.. single character per account.. so in effect they had their account restored). Talk to customer service.

Dailup is doable. There for awhile I was 2boxing an sk/clr on the same pc w/ dailup. Zone time was crazy but it worked.
As for your deleted account, as long as you remember your sn/password you should be able to get to activated again.

First - With account being deleted I am not for sure if you will have to start over or not.
2nd - Dialup - Most duable - I would recommend you go to a local PC store and spend the money on a hardware modem. I repeat (HARDWARE MODEM). This will reduce the need on the processor. Providing better connection speeds and through put. Also you will see the difference in playing EQ.
Hope to see you on. Hunt Safe and KILLEMALL

Dial-up; ugh. I did that for 3yrs+ so its definately doable.. Far as starting over, ya its suxs, but u can do like everyone else and buy some pp/ or sell a gamecard to get ya started(not that i condone/or against it).
Welcome back,and good luck
