i would like to get unda a couple pieces of gear before merge :D
but i think with the amount of people gonna be on zek, it will be no problem selling stuff in bazaar

im 57 now and when i wanna pVp i have to ask for it
noone is ever unanon, and theres no place a lot of 50's people hang out

im very excited that there will actually be more pVP on server

im on tallon, and the people there treat it as a blue server


i also cant wait so i can sell the demi lich helm MQ's !
i think i kinda flooded the market with them recently

I have to say this, (I am sorry) but we are going to an RZ rule set, which most likely meand thats the culture will be the same as RZ, if you go out looking for a pvp and you will be deemed a pker (someone who ganks and griefs) therefore you will be branded as an outcast and KoS to what we call anti's.


While if you were 70 with 300ish aa's, and in a guild like Pandora(sp) or hate, this might be an acceptable view to have, this will not be tolerated. Hey if you want to become a pk thats fine, but you don't quite understand the consequences of your actions.

While I don't know what will happen with the high level guilds, you can bet your very last dollar that RZ culture will remain dominant, especially because really want the RZ culture.

Also if your looking for gear now, for server merger. there is no way you can gear up in time, to be ready for what awaits you.

But this is entirely my opinion, based on the fact that they are keeping RZ ruleset.

Let me put it to you this way, lets say I am kiting in PoV, and you show up and attack someone that I know is an anti, (guild or otherwise, i will fd my kite come over and help them kill you)

and even if you manage to kill them, they will tell there guild, that guild will tell other guilds and soon enough everyone know you are.

Once again this is only based on my experiences on RZ.

(I know some blueby RZ comment is coming so let me address that now. Lowers levels we have lots more PvP then you, and much harder competition, with the exeption of sullen. On sullen there is no serious challange of pvp at higher levels, gear is the god of PvP, if you have substatially better gear you should win 1v1 most of the time. Guilds on RZ have fought and won even when they were out geared and out numbered, DoZ v MiM is probaly the best and most well known example)

From what I understand (and I could be wrong) have never had serious competition in the high level arena.

No I don't cry, all I am saying is there is a different culture thenTZ/VZ on rallos. If you choose to PVP you will get shot down and stomped on, especially if your trying to gear now.

A pker on rallos needs to have amazing gear, if your looking for gear now you will be DESTROYED, for the reasons i mentioned above. Thats really all i needed to say., and all i should have said,

I am not pleased the SOE put so little thought into this merger that they didn't even make the effort of a single adjustment to the existing rules... but what can you do?

My guild, <Hate> is planning to continue with our current philosophy. We PvP everyone. We require level 69 and 150AAs for a necro though. I don't know how well we will be able to continue on RZ, especially if there are a lot of GMs and the PnP, but right now we have a good strategy and feel pretty strong going in.

There aren't many strong lower level guilds from SZ, but just because of our culture if you are worried about the current politics of RZ and you are really into PvP, you might want to look for a SZ guild.

As for gear - well, I don't really know how things stack up, but a lot of the magelos I have looked at from the other zeks seem to have really weak resists compared to the SZ people. And with the wimpe +/- 4 levels PvP limit, there's no reason not to take your time leveling really. Actually, thinking about it, that kind of level limit makes for one of the few cases where I would suggest people stop and work on a lot of AAs before maxing out levels if they are really into PvP

Just curious, but what are all of your opinions on how this merge will effect those that are newer to a PvP enviroment?? I'm thinking about starting a PvP necro to just try it out and such, but I'm kind of skeptical with everyone already heavily equipped....there wouldnt' be a whole lot of fun for the lower levels, i wouldn't think.

Not sure how much of a problem you would have being low level. atleast on TZ there are so few people under 50 you can level up without being pked fairly easily. You have to go looking for somone in your range if you want to fight them. and that is with a + / - 7 range. The only place your will surely find some pvp around your level would be PC, and most likely its a level 20 with elemental gear and you have no chance against anyways.

about what Nizerns said, Am I wrong or are you saying that If I killing somone one on RZ just because im IR to them I will be branded a PKer? on a pvp server? Im confused... Is pvp politicaly incorrect on rallos zek?

Gosh, seeing as how I'm in a guild that's always been KOS to the entire server, survived for four years, and now dominates TZ.. I'm pretty sure this'll be a smooth transition for me. The server might run Rallos rules, but believe me when I say that the alliance of a bunch of high-end guilds isn't going to spook us. It's happened before, and it didn't work.

Well, I'm going to create a PvP character after the merger, I think. Just to try it out for awhile. Blue servers are becoming boring to me because NO ONE duels anymore......unless it's a gangbang in the 'Zaar arena. I feel like raising a newly made necro to PvP godliness ;)

The wimpy level limit on PvP means if you want to create a character on the new Zek, you can level up with very little ganking. Of course, it also means that if an uber geared your level decides to pick on you there's nobody to help you out, and it means that using greenie killing as bait for higher levels is no longer an option for SZers either.... I will miss the massive battles for a book startetd by greenie killing :(

I am amused by the rumor that RZ's AD seems to be wussying out already and contemplating a server move. Great to scare people off from loud mouth trolls before the PvP even starts :ph34r:

most 65's are weak since levelmax became 70
but theres still a some that i have no chance of being
if other casters got levels on you, its not bout having the HP, or armor

i can handle prolly any pure melee thats 65...... as long as were not in PoJ or something

i think its funny when monks run up on your with their ton po's or T staff thinking they can handle...

Yeh it was really fun the first couple hours just giant brawls in zones with books. I hit GD and OT was lots of fun. That got old in about an hour or so and just went to xp.

But i think we can all agree there are waaaaaaaaayyyy to many people now, lag is horendous, i just hope a lot of people take transfers or else the lag is gonna become super painful. PoK with 600 people wtf, and the worst part was when i logged on at 8est there were stil 200 people in PoK, just GAH. thats it I am done.

demetrii accounted for like 30' something kills and that was right after server came out

i went to lavastorm cause i heard there was some PVP
but it was just one group of peeps
and i got ganked
druid zoned at 1%, i dunno how he lived
i thought i would zone and nab him but when i zoned into nagafen he was 100% and had two more peeps there lol

its cool tho who cares
i died 3 times last night
and got no Kill shots
but i had a monk with me and he got all the KS and shared like 300 pnt
it was so laggy that someone would look like they stopped running, then they would be OOR to spells
so then you have no idea where they went
