I am a lvl 15 iskar necromancer with some limited gear i have on loan from a friend. He is a 55 druid and says i can use his acct to powerlvl my necromancer. If I can do this what is the best way to do this and where. I wanna try and beable to hunt with him for experience here soon. Oh my friend said also that he would like me to hunt in Lake of ill omen and kill sarnak couriers for exps is that a good place for me to go?

Thanks for all your help,

hmm one way he could do it is to buff your pet so your pet can powerlevel you... i had a sham friend help me this way in my early teens cuz those levels are just plain boring

oh yeah and i havent been to LOIO in a while so i can bairly remember how the exp was there... but yeah its prolly cool...

Pretty much if you know how to 2 box (the art of running 2 toons at once). You can hunt alot of places. Just use the druid to heal your pet and to buff him. As well as to dot or dd (damage over time and direct damage) the mob you are working on. The lesson to be learned is when to do it and how much. Because if he outdamages you then hell take the exp. Id say loio (lake of ill omen) is a great place to start. Youll need the druids strength buff, his damage shield, his heal youll want to me like a couple lvls down. Reason for this is you wont need a 500-600 point heal on a pet that has half or less of those hit points. Youll need his hit point buffs as well.

So after looking it up youll need.

Girdle of Karana
Spirit of Eagle
Regrowth
Shield of thorns
Skin like nature (if this wont stick move down to the next one)
Engulfing roots (for emergencies)
Greater Healing
And succor for grouping and getting the hell out of there but staying in the same zone to try agian.

You use the lower heal to save mana to be able to pull mor often. Once you are comfortable with doing it you can trade any of those spells up for a dd or a dot.

Spell list so you can learn and set it up properly or to your liking.

Best of luck to you.

actually, there is a level restriction on 50+ spells. some of the spells listed are druid 50+ buffs, and wont stick jsut yet on your lvl 15. used all the 44-49 buffs, buff the hell out of both the pet and your necromancer, and follow them around heal if necesarry. the best way for fast leveling is ALWAYS going to be to have your friend control their druid.

also, a druid and necromancer make one of the sweetest combinations in the game. its like a clr+tank, shm + mnk, nec+dru. you can destroy almost anything. the advantage is the druids skin line of spells adds to hp regen starts at 49 and after 59 begions to add to mana regen that STACKS with lich. They can also regen you counteracting much of lich dmg, and it only takes a twitch or two to restore the mana they lose for regrowing you. Your dots all stack, druid snare is long lasting and better, and if you have room to fear kite the druid pet can join for more DPS. also you have a great papertank (pet) healer if hes tankin, and the DS on pet rocks makes fights so much shorter

once you are 50+ you will be able to go to umbral plains to duo elysians, which are UNDEAD mobs =) undead mobs are doomed

I stated if it didnt stick try this. And the buffs are for his pet. The lvl restrictions dont pertain to pets. Dont believe me? try it.

Newbix, NO ! DON'T KILL SARNAKS. There are lots of leveling guides available and lots of different mobs you can kill without killing Sarnaks. There are some good quest you might want to do later and if you level up on Sarnaks you will screw up your faction. At one time this was not terribly bad because you could spent a mind numbing month killing goblins in Droga to repair your faction, but since they have raised the Droga level, it's no longer solo'able at the level you need. Necromancers have enough natural enemies, always be aware of factions.

At 15 there is really only one place to really kick butt on exp.. that is paludal caverns. You get the exp bonus and because you will PL him, he can get 20 in prob less than an hour.
