Just picked up this spell for 500plat in the bazaar. I know it's not a useful spell per se, but it is fun I'll tell ya. Have yet to try it with a charmed pet, and oH boy if it works with Wake the Dead AA then watch out i'm gonna have some good ole laughs!!!

I've since then reseached it with the words i've picked up for free. Yeah I could have saved 500 plat but it's only 500 plat, no big deal i make that in a half hour.
I wouldn't call someone stupid for buying something they want. If you want to wait and research something, or camp for a drop that's cool too. Point is if you want it and you're happy when you get it, that's hardly stupid. Besides money is the easiest thing in this game to get.

The Words of the Spoken which are used for the spell usually go for between 500pp-1kpp from what I've seen in the bazaar. So you could probably sell your freshly made one for the 500pp you spent on TM. I got really lucky and found 2 of the words in Neriak with my dark elf cleric. Made 2 spells kept one... sold the other in the bazaar... most people just sell the Words it seems... the spell is pretty much useless, but It can be entertaining and is a nice completion to a full spellbook

This spell is a lot of fun when teasing real newbees,,, Outside Freeport...
Torathe casts a spell
Torathe's skin peels away
Torathe summons an undead servent
Torathe casts a spell (voice graft)
/walks in the front gate and stands next to Boomba the Big
/Newbee approaches
Newbee says Hail Torathe
Newbee says Can you spare a couple hundred plat or some old equipment?
Jabober says Hey bud, leave my pet alone. Talk to me if you need something.
Newbee scratches his head
Newbee says Sorry, I though you were Torathe's pet.
Jabober says Do I sound like a pet to you?
Newbee says Sorry sir.
Jabober says Pet Sit Down
Torathe crumples to the gound in a pile of dead bones
Jabober says Pet Stand Up
Torathe resumes his upright standing position.
Newbee says I didn't know you could choose Jabober as a character name!?!
/Boomba snickers
/Midbees and Ubers within earshot all ROFL
I open a fresh beer and laugh at newbee making a fool of himself.

I have fun with this spell myself. I like using it on dire charmed pets just like reg pets.

One other possible use,,, though I haven't tested it out yet. An NPC that refuses to talk to me due to my shinanigans may actually be aprehensive or indifferent
to my pet. It may be possible to talk through the pet and get the NPC to deal.
I'm going to give this a try in Runnyeye, the vendors and bankers down there wont attack me but they wont deal with me either since I completed the Deputy
Ring Quest in Rivervale and became "One with the wall". Perhaps ole Jobaber can get the vendors to talk and trade since he's supposed to be faction neutral.
Just a thought.

I know you can only talk trhough your pet while the spell is active and you yourself have the pet targeted. So the way to try this would be to target the guy you want to talk to pet /assist, then cast voice graft on pet and give the conversation a go. Can't see the use in talking to NPC's with you're pet. Even though you colud go through a conversatioon, can't use the pet to buy sell or give items :(
