Fabled Mishaps

It took me hours to get Hasten Bootstrudder to spawn for JBoot turn in. When I asked an Admin-GM about it I was told that "rare" spawn MOBs were screwed up with all the fabled mobs on the spawn charts now. I didn't get it either but apparently it has been a problem the GMs have been dealing with.

I participated in a shammy 1.0 epic the other day, and the CoM mob was fabled. Not sure if this is normal but for some reason he agroed, and slaughtered half the raid, ave level 64 or so. Was red to mid 60's. After rezzes the turn in went fine, he was indif to me, but some aoe must have hit my and a few other pets or something, and the fabled poped to normal mob which had to be killed.

I'm on Rocet Nife and the other night a lvl 42 Ranger was bragging about having solo'd the Fabled Chief Goonda in WK for the Fabled Batskull Earring. Well, since a lvl 44 Necro can out solo a lvl 50 Ranger, I thought I'd head over and check it out. Well, after about 10 pops of the regular Chief, the Fabled arose in the last one's place and proceeded to own me! He hit me with a 981 HP Harm Touch and quickly made mince meat of pet before I found out that he was resistant to EVERYTHING that I could send his way. He politely sent me back to my bind spot without so much as requiring me to purchase a ticket.......

Got a buddy with a lvl 65 Drood to follow me back and it still took an insane amount of time for him to give up the earring! Man, when they bump up the HPs on the Fabled's, they don't joke around! I don't even want to think about what would have happened if it had been a mob where I wasn't expecting a Fabled to pop!
