the best place to farm is the place nobody else but you knows.

with every new expansion, go explore nec, you got all abilities to do so. and sell the new crap before the prices start falling.

after the prices are down, share your great experience here)

Runes don't sell for jack considering the rarity and the trouble. In the time you can farm two lvl 66 to 68 runes I can make 10 times as much farming TS items or rare spells/componenets.

Most people will NOT post thier uber PP farm starts, just the ones they USED to do in the past.

Why ?

Pure Greed, plain and simple. All of us are guilty of it. I have a camp thats 2.5/k an hour and I wouldn't share it if you paid me 10k a night for a yr.

So it is pretty useless posting " Where can I get pp" posts because the replies you get are very old school, very time consuming, and really not worth the risk vs reward.

Not being harsh or nasty.

Just being honest.

Something I tell everyone that wonders how to make pp quick and for some reason the people (in game who ask) still don't go and do it.

1. Get your smithing skill to >100, the higher the better but 100+ is sufficient, ideally 177 removes all fails. With tradeskills the way they are now, getting to 100 in smithing is probably only a couple hundred pp and an hour or so of time.

2. Buy a velium smithy hammer. http://www.eqtraders.com/items/show_item.php?item=4720

3. Buy a smithing chisel http://www.eqtraders.com/items/show_item.php?item=1428

4. Clear out 8 10-slot bags and put them in your inventory. Make sure you have a mount or are bound next to a forge :P

5. Go to the Tizmak caves in GD. Generally the deeper you go the more likely they have weapons... roam up and down the cave systems slaughtering every tizmak. Loot all of the velium weapons off of them. These mobs are in the late 20's to low 30's iirc - they drop fast.

6. With a full inventory of weapons, get to a forge, break down all of the weapons into bricks of velium (weapon + velium smithy hammer in forge). Then be sure to break down all of the bricks into "small piece of velium".

7. Put "small piece of velium" up for sale in the bazaar, be sure to be in the lower range of prices...

8. Collect Underpants.

9. Profit.

At 65, I did this to the tune of 100-150 small pieces of velium an hour. At a price of 25pp a pop, that is solid cash per hour for easy close farming. I don't know what present day prices of velium are, but I would imagine it is still in great demand as a few tradeskills need massive amounts of velium so it will probably be in high demand for a long time to come.

I actually didn't do this for money, I did it for the 300 crappy wyvern hide masks that I was attempting to do at the time.

Of course if you don't want to use farm sell in bazaar, there are a few places that are just farm then sell to vendor but rarely will you make as much. Putting up a /buyer and then /selling is better profit. Getting a Master Tradeskill (one in demand) at the release of an expansion is even more profitable.

I wish I knew now, that at 70 with DoDh/PoR/OoW that you can grow out of the bazaar very quickly as a casual... well I knew that but I didn't really take it to heart and I kept spending pp on minor upgrades here and there... so much money would've been saved for alts/gambling if I had just got to 70 and worried about upgrades then.

i have always been partial to droga. the items you get wont sell for nearly as much as they once did, but you can still make good money there if youre flat broke. repsawn on everything is 20mins, there are many named that spawn all over, some are easier to get than others. download the mpa and it should give all their locations.

the king drops copper hammer of striking, i think it still goes for 5k+ on quellious, havent checked in a while. get 49 pet up, stand outside, pet pull, root rot, blah blah blah, it beceoms trivial.

i did the king, earthseer above him, runri, earth mystic gamolk (got his 2hs a couple times but its stupidly rare), the spider up by the top, and the stone crook piklo was his name i think. all can be pet pulled and its pretty easy root rot.

i did this a long time at 65 so you shouldnt have any trouble. paved the way for my 100k horse, about 200k in gear upgrades, and 300kpp in the bank. might be worth it to check it out, i always loved the place. GL!

Not sure of the spell economy on your server. I would look at 63-64 spells. At 65 I farmed spells in HoH. Might not be the biggest bang for the farming buck. Usually walked away with one spec drop in a 4-5 hour camp, at least get an ethereal drop. Nec spells sold well and had decent luck with cleric spells. Not too many doing PoP content, at least on my server, so I did ok. The biggest benefit was the AA Exp the whole time I was farming, so I was killing 2 birds with one stone. Get 5.5-6% AA Exp per kill. Farming the NE basement. Check the website for plenty of info on hunting in HoH. The zone is rarely hunted also so that was nice. Now if spells are selling for 500pp on your server your screwed but at the time I was farming I was getting up to 12k on the best spec spells for a class and 3k on the low end. Your results may vary :D

they drop hero parts too which may sell for 200-300pp per on your server, usually made at least 1k per hour with those alone
