Need the best possible solo spot at 44+

hello i am a necromancer of the 44th lvl from the tholuxe paells server and wanted to know where the best place to solo at my level and up is.i would like if anyone could tell me where to go and how to do it.i am also in need of knowing where the best spot to make plat is, NEED some money :D so please respond to this one.

I have found Echo Caverns a good place to hunt, If you can a camp that is. The best camp and there are not many to choose from is the TM / Undead slaves camp. The TM drops Polished scales 16pp, Echo Ore 6pp, Phosphoresent Cord or some such ( its a whip ) 45pp. These are all what you will get with Steins and decent Charisma selling to the Gnomes in zone. Also the undead servants drop picks which sell for 6pp though they all the items are lore the picks will be what you have to make multiple runs during one spawn cycle for. The exp though is great if you are twinked enough to take that room and the large room leading to it you will have non stop kills at 1 percent per there are I think 15 mobs there. With calm undead you can single pull everything in both of the rooms with ease. The only set back is Fireclaw and Trillcor may spawn in your cycle they have crap loot and are way underconned though stil soloable if well equiped. Gunthak on the Beach. Solo pulls are easy. Spacing is fairly good. Left side of beach (while swimming in) is undead so you have twice the normal carnage powers there. You should be able to level there steadily and the loot ain't bad and it is a short swim to the lighthouse to sell your loot and camp and get supplies and find a banker.

At that level, maybe 2 or 3 higher, you can get groups in Dulak Harbor or start working up the tunnel off the beach. (Just watch for "walkers" in tunnel there are there roaming mobs in the tunnels). :rolleyes:

As for Echo. The XP is not as good per Dark Blue Mob and in Gunthak or Dulak, from my experience. Decent hunting, just slower XP.

I hear that "old world" stuff gave even worse XP and my fights in Lower Guk tend to agree with that. :unsure:

Lower Guk is still king imo for necro's anyway, and anytime you can get in a dungeon vs. outside it's going to be well worth the effort due to the zem(zone experience modifyer).

ok here's the ting with XP percentages. With each expansion the XP is better for the same level mobs. I'll list them from worst to best. Old world (antonica odus and feydwyer) Kunark, velious, luclin, ykesha, LDoN. Now Dungeons in those areas have an xp bonus better than the rest of the area at the same level, I.E. echo has better XP than DSP, and veksar has better XP than Skyfire.

PoP is different it was designed for high level play only therefore the XP bonus is insane, especially as you move up the tiers.

Now the thing to remember is that there is a reason for this XP bonus everywhere, the MoBs are harder. They usually have more hitpoints, and they hit harder and faster. If that isn't a problem then go for it in all the designated areas. It's not really a problem with high level buffs and twink gear, making for good xp all around.

Gunthak slows down at this lvl wouldn't really care to do 43 there. I was thinking plague bones in dl or maybe BW would be better

The Plague bones in DL are super easy and super good XP at this lvl. From the nexus spire just go south until you see some giant spires. there is a pyramid there full of plaguebones. you can pull singles with spells, just dont get too close. Agro kite them around for a little bit and *poof* they're dead. About 1% a kill and i've never hunted here and not found the place already camped.

Plaguebones in DL are good steady exp. Pull with Shackle of Spirit and aggro or fear kite.

Gunthak is also good xp on the beach. Once the mobs there start turning LightBlue head to Dulak and fear Kite the entrance mobs.
