well hello all im new to the board, i dusted off my necro and started to get into him agian. but that is not way i'm posting, i looked the coldian shawl quest and i was wondering at what level can i srart hunting the gaints for the toes and the heads. well thanks for the info

Hello. I was a late bloomer and was hunting them in the late 40's At 51 they are green and light blue so I would say you should start in the mid to upper 30's. Also, another way to get faction is to tap any giant you see that is being killed by another group (or just buff someone in that group while they are fighting). But first make sure it's ok with them. What level are you now?

im 30 almost 31. im soloing in ms right now. not the best exp but there are a ton of mobs and it is getting me to the 30s so i can go into dsp and it will be much safer

Find someone doing a Ring War and just participate. You can do a tap on every single mob (avoid agro) and level the heck out of your faction in a couple hours of complete insanity and carnage. Fun as heck to do and if you are smart and do low mana attacks you can be in on 100 kills. Small tap here a low level poison there and small nuke there. At your level you are not going to get any xp at all so you are only in it for faction. Don't even try to be a real part of the killing. In fact you may not even want to be in a group. Tell Raid Leader to make you a group by yourself and that you are just going to do low level taping and do not expect to get a rez if killed. Drop a spell on each Giant after he is fully engaged. They come in swarms of 20 at a time so you will have mobs galore to attack.

At 31 you'd get wiped trying to attack those giants alone. Odds are that most of your spells will resist anyway... B)
